BELLINZAGHI'S INTER ARE ITALIAN CHAMPIONS
2-2 at the end of normal time. Gnoukouri's and Sakho's goals in extra time secure the Scudetto for the Giovanissimi Nazionali
CHIANCIANO - A third Scudetto in the last four years. The eighth in the club's history. Once again the ribbons on the Giovanissimi Nazionali national title are blue and black. After a long, gruelling season, Stefano Bellinzaghi's youngsters wrapped up the 2014/15 Scudetto by beating Parma in the final. Goals from Gnoukouri and Sakho in extra time secured a 4-3 victory.
Esposito gave Inter the lead on eight minutes, heading home from Merola's corner. On the quarter-hour mark the Nerazzurri doubled their lead, Gavioli's shot striking the post before Merola tapped in from the resulting goalmouth scramble.
Inter had several chances to make it 3-0 and were nearly made to pay as Parma pulled one back just before the hour, Minari beating Tintori from 12 yards. Then the equaliser came for the Gialloblu a few minutes from time, Adorante climbing highest to head home Delle Donne's free-kick.
Changes by Bellinzaghi gave Inter back the impetus at the start of extra time, Gnoukouri making it 3-2 after sloppy defending from Parma. Then it was left for substitute Sakho to make sure, as he beat Parma keeper Adorni when one on one. Somian pulled one back late on but it proved to be just a consolation.
Come the final whistle the Nerazzurri were celebrating being crowned Italian champions again. The 39th title in academy history.
