Someone please briefly summarise for me the structure of the primavera league/competitions. There's 16(?) teams in the league and Atalanta came 1st in terms of points, with us in second place. Then this final we lost to Atalanta was like a U19 version of the Coppa Italia or something?

Nope.
The league as you said has 16 teams now and the standing at the end of the regular season decides who will play on the title playoff.
the title playoff is composed of the 3 rounds:

1st round:
Team which finished in 3rd position vs 6th , and 4th vs 5th. Its a 1 leg match, if it finishes in a draw the team with better standing at the regular season is qualified for the next round.

2nd round (seminfinals);
Team which finished in 1st position vs winner of match nr2 of the 1st round and so on. If it finishes in a draw , two extra times of 15 min are played and if again there is no winner the team with better standing is qualified for the final ( no penalty kicks)

3rd round (final):
The match Inter - Atalanta that you saw , in the final the regular season standing doesn't count anymore and instead penalties decide the winner in case of a draw.

That said , Atalanta finished the regular season 12 points ahead of us this season so they were the moral winner anyway.

Coppa Italia on the other hand is a completely seperate competition , one of the 4 competitions we took part this year along with Youth CL and Viareggio Cup

We are selling Gavioli and Rizzo to Genoa apparently. Maybe we can make 7-8m€ out of these sales?

It's probably just a way to avoid giving Genoa the 8m for Salcedo and we make FFP gains as well.

From the rumors, if you believe them, so far Bastoni and Pinamonti, that gonna be seriously evaluated to stay in the team for next year....as far as just to add numbers, id guess Colidio, Nolan, Pompetti, Esposito...

Inter sell Adorante to Parma

Inter youth team striker Andrea Adorante will return to Parma in a deal worth €5m, claim multiple sources.

FCInterNews and Tuttomercatoweb have the same details, that the fee is €5m and he’ll sign a four-year contract.

However, the Nerazzurri will retain a buy-back option for the future, or at least first refusal if he leaves the Stadio Tardini.

Adorante is 19 years old and won’t be able to play until at least October, as he is recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

It is a return to Parma, because he was born there and started out in the youth academy before the club went bankrupt in 2015.

At that point, all the players under contract became free agents and he joined Inter.

He scored 13 goals in 28 competitive games for the Nerazzurri this season, but that was cut short by an ACL tear in March.

Inter have signed Elvis Lindkvist. The Swedish midfielder (born in 2002) arrived from BK Hacken.

OFFICIAL: Rizzo was sold to Genoa for €2.5m

Here is a video presentation of the left-footed central defender and some other youth players talking about him.

He is expected to be loaned in Serie B, Spezia being a possible destination. Nothing regarding a buy-back clause, I guess his potential is not that big as his body.
