Today there was first league match of our Primavera. 3:0 against Sampdoria, goals by Esposito, Squizzato and Oristanio.
And I have to say that Oristanio is pure gold. The way he dribbles. Reminds me of Messi.

The last Inter academy opened in Turkey in June. I'm ok with the situation but not the location. Mersin is in the south where the academy opened. The Southern Turks are untalented as fuck. Almost every good Turkish player comes from the North.

So wtf happened with primavera football? Was it cancelled completely or are they just training or smth....

Kids are going to school all around the world, in what right you would cancel their competition and remove 1 year from their growth.

Our youth teams squad information still doesn't exist on the official website. It haven't been included for a loooong time.

So it's based on minutes given this season. I'm not sure who'd we play given our best young players are out on loan, which is a much better decision than having them rot here.

You can make an argument for Agoume being better off here but I think a lot of us expected to see more playing time at Spezia so far.

The life of our primavera system hurts me a lot tbh coz I am that kind of football fan who loves youth project system where youth players are promoted to the first team and will later form core of the team rather than sell them for profit. I love it coz it's the best project of all, the club get to save a lot of money and still achieve the highest level of team quality because of the cohesion and togetherness among the team it brings. Cohesion is the biggest weapon to being the best team and youth project guarantees that.
But unfortunately this is an utopia in inter, the way our club run its youth system is abysmal and renders it useless. We are the worst top club in football in developing youth from the primavera, Who was the last player that made a breakthrough from the primavera to the first team and becomes one of the cores for more than a year and when?.
Before, in football, developing young players from the youth system into the first team is seen as for the mid and small teams coz the big clubs have a lot of top quality players for youth players to find space, and if the need to fill a position arises, there's money to purchase quality player. But now things have changed, even Madrid, PSG, mancity and Chelsea of all people have been able to promote players from their youth system to playing a lot in the first team in the past few years while we've done absolutely nothing in the past 7-8_years. 'nacho, valverde, Vazquez, kimpembe, dagba, foden, mount, Reece James'. All these are from the so called big spenders
If we had known, we should have just focused on developing youth players into our first team rather than purchasing shit and mediocre players for high fees like kondogbia, vecino, joao Mario and the so called banter era- leading us to endure and suffer years of donkiness, fuckiness, and shittiness. Atleast with youth project, even though results would not be there, we would have saved a lot of money
Honestly I just feel our youth system should be ended and scrapped, it's pointless.

Eliminated from what?

Primavera Championship. It starts with league matches and at the end the best teams are fighting in play-offs. Inter lost in the semi-final against Empoli and Empoli will face Atalanta in the final. By the way, the best 3 teams in the league stage were Sampdoria, Inter and Juventus (57 points) and all of them were eliminated. That's why I think play-offs are horrible idea.

Christian Chivu made his debiut as Primavera coach few days ago and won over Atalanta 3:2. Atalanta is always one of the best sides in youth competition, so it's a good achievement. As far as I know, he changed the formation from 3-5-2 which was used recently by former coach, Armando Madonna, and implemented 4-1-2-1-2 (or 4-3-1-2).

Here are the highlights of the match:

I wish we'd play 4-2-3-1. It gives you the best coverage of key roles (all defense roles, 2 x MC, 1 x AMC, 1 x FC, 1 x AMR, 1 x AML). Gives your talent by roles the best chnce of breaking out.

Or you go full Ajax/Barca model and make it such a strong system that everyone knows exactly what their role is and can rotate into the squad the level up without too much hasssle
