With a 6-0 aggregate victory over Como and with Eliakuw scoring two goals, the primevera club has advanced to the next round of the championship. I really wish i could see these guys play to be able to judge who is fit for inter and who isn't. Anyway, good luck for them and Eliakuw is looking as dangerous as ever.

And apparently, as long as Zac stays as a coach, he's the next big DM whose career is gonna be ruined by Zac.

Primavera to meet Roma

Our Primavera team has qualified for the quarter-final of the league after beating Como in both legs.

Their next opponent will be Roma, which might be one of the worst draws we could get. The Roma team has profiles such as Corvia and Cerci in the team. The three teams in the Primavera league that dominates are Inter, Juventus and Roma. So to face Roma this early is very saddening.

It will be interesting to see if Bernazzani will call up Cordaz and Biava from now on.

Is Biava & Cordaz elligible to play in the competition??? IMO, if we are to be the champion, it doesn't matter in which stage of the competition do we face Juve or Roma. We'll have to beat them at some stage of the season anyway!!! Forza Nerazzurrini!!!

Btw, do D'Agostino and De Rossi still play for the Roma Primavera team???

I can only hear the commentator for this game. But we are currently leading by 1-0, a goal scored by Meggiorini.

But Juve is pressuring as hell. If we can beat them, we have a very good chance to win the entire thing. Roma and Juve are the biggest rivals.

Inter won against Juventus in the semi-final, which means that Inter has beated off the two worst rivals- Roma and Juve.

Inter won by 2-1 and thw two goals were scored by Meggiorini and Marino. Inter will face the winner between Brescia - Lecce.

An un-confirmed line-up:

Villanova; Dellafiore, Giani, Nossa, Kolie; Lombardo, Valeri, Marino, Donazzan; Eliakwu, Meggiorini (Piovaccari)

Hey Jimmy

I was watching the match as well. I love the play of our team. In fact, if I had my way, I would just follow youth team cuz they are so exciting to watch. All the young players just runnning after the ball full speed. Eliwaku impressed me. But I want to say that Dino Marino is a special player cuz he seems like he's a storm. He gets into midfield tangles and somehow wins the ball and then takes off towards the goal full speed. Great stuff. He won all the midfield tangles today, and he just took off. Maybe 5 or 6 times today. By the way, what channel was that link? Is that RAI Sport? What kind of football games do they show during the year, or do they not show football games? Thanks.

Also, ELiwaku had both assists today.

THe first goal: Eliwaku received a long ball and he tried to speed around two defenders. He reached the endline and had no real shot at goal since the goalie had moved to cover the near post. He then flicked it on to an unmarked man at the far post who scored.

The second goal: The ball was cleared by the Inter defense who were under constant attack. The ball reached a Juve midfielder who tried to settle it but in comes Dino Marino and somehow he races into the tangle of ball and player and he comes out at full speed with the ball. He races all the way to the 18 yd line and then gives it up to Eliwaku. Eliwaku, who receives the ball on the left side of the goal, while Dino is on the right, pretends he's trying a better angle to shoot so he juts to the right. At the end, he flicks it on to an unmarked Marino at the right post who pummels it into the roof of the net.

I watched the match from the 21st minute of the 2nd half onwards. I mostly saw Juventus attacking us. It was a constant barrage, Juventus were employing long ball tactics. We got extremely lucky twice in the 2nd half when the ball was just scattering around five feet from the goal line and it was a mad scramble to kick it out. Our clearing was horrible since we cleared either to the half line to a waiting Juventus half back or to the 18 yd line where a midfielder of ours tried to whack it out and instead tapped it to another Juventus midfielder. Poor clearing. We got extremely lucky on finishing, with one shot going just wide of hte post by inches.

Eliwaku is a great player. I'm impressed with his size. He's not as pacy as Martins but still the fastest man on the pitch. His bulkiness helps him out a lot. The only thing is that he doesnt' have a good dribble and just tries to run past attackers. He has no real control in that dribble sense.

The Juvetnus goal was not able to be stopped except by the defenisve mids. The jUve midfielder or attacker got the ball at the 20 yds line or so and kicked it in, a great shot. The goalie made a great save but there was no way he could have held on and the ball bounced away, the nearest man being a juve attacker and our back and hte juve defender got there first and made a nice shot almost from the endline.
