Matchday 2 will be against Fiorentina at home on the 20 year anniversary of 9/11.

Ended 3-3 but Fiorentina completely dominated the game. Inter couldn’t string more than a few passes together as Fiorentina spent most of the game laying siege in our final third. All three of our goals came from crosses.

We played a 4-3-2-1 formation. Our striker Abiuso scored a brace (two headers) and a few decent moments, but he was hard to judge as he didn’t have much service. The Inter payer who most stood out was the attacking mid Goffi, though the best player on the pitch was Fiorentina’s No. 10: Agostinelli.

Judging from the formation Chivu rotated almost all the team.
His press conference after the match though was very interesting and seemed to point to a new philosofy , not sure if for better or worse

When asked if he was thinking to implement a more defensive/careful approach against Real (we are taking shit load of goals every match) he said that primavera level is not seria A , you are not fighting for titles so there is no point on focusing on the result.
All he cares was to build players mentality and give them the occasion to grow. He said he had 27 players in the roster so he played the ones who were not involved in international football because he needs to judge everyone.

This is completely different from our past approach with primavera. We have always hired coaches with professional experience in Serie C who seemed very focused on the tactical aspect of the game and the result. Lets see what chivu will bring .

Kevin Zefi will not play in our first UEFA Youth League game against Real Madrid. This is purely a technical choice, as the list can be changed at any time nas he can be included for the next matches.

Our U18 squad will play their first game in the Campionato Nazionale on the 19 September 2021 against Sassuolo. Keep an eye on this Zuberek kid.
