SESTO SAN GIOVANNI (MILAN) - Inter Primavera are assured of qualification to the play-off phase of the 2003/04 Primavera Championship thanks to a crushing 4-0 victory over AC Milan in this morning's Group B derby.

One-way traffic at the Stadio Breda saw the Nerazzurrini go into the half-time break with a commanding 3-0 lead. Riccardo Meggiorini hit a brace for the second consecutive time against Inter's cross-town rivals, with one goal either side of a well-taken effort by Eliakwu, the Nigerian's thirty-second goal in thirty-one matches this season. After goalkeeper Villanova had saved a Rossoneri penalty, Lombardo completed the rout with Inter's fourth in the second half.

Now we lead group B with 42 points. I am really proud of these kids and i honestly hope we see some of them next year in our squad or loaned to othe serie A teams. But i wanna see the Eliakuw kid in our team next year. I know he was in our squad in one of our Coppa italia games but i wanna see more of him.

About Eliakuw, i just hope that he can dribble. This is what we need, we have power in Vieri and Adriano, pace in Martins we just want good dribblers et Voila.

Sometimes there are guys that put other players in inter uniform, i saw Aimar's pic once in an inter uniform. :irritate:

Yeah, i've seen his pic in a magazine once. He was an excellent winger back in the hay days i think. Thanx anyway.

Jair wasn't a winger. He was the lone striker in Herrera's Inter.

From what I have read he is a good player and I look forward to seein him in a few years time for the first team.

Unexpectedly, the team lost the Tim Cup despite being 2-0 up from the first leg. The juventinis scored twice and won by the silver goal. This is another dissappointment after last year's league championship final.

Now it's all for the championship title. The team leads its division and is certain to make it to the final phase. Good luck to them and anything short of the title will be disappointing.

That sucks. The A team beats Juve but the Primavera team loses....

Though I guess I rather the A team winning then the Primavera side...

Though not as much as all Youth teams beating Juve
