leipzig, hoffenheim and cologne are taking the bundesliga by storm

leipzig is the most convincing team right now in the bundesliga in my oppinion (except for bayern) and additionally have an extremely deep squad as it seems. bear in mind the majority of their players will only get better as they are all very young.

fun fact about hoffenheim: their coach (julian nagelsmann) is 29 years old. he was criticised very often, because he has no football experience, thus called "laptop coach". since he took over, only bayern (52) and dortmund (48) made more points than hoffenheim (43).

köln has maybe the best striker on form right now in the league with modeste; 9 games, 11 goals. they also work very well as a team.
it wont be a surprise if atleast two of these teams take part in european competitions next season.

Well, about nagelsmann... arrigo sacchi used to say that you don't need experience as a horse to become a good jockey. :troll:

Not only that but for those that don't know the club was founded in 2009(!) only as a marketing machine for Red Bull. In that sense no one wants to see it as a fairy tale but deary me is it one hell of an amazing rise, I also hear they have a few youngsters in their team which is always a plus for me.

Burke only had a couple of appearances (1 assist, 1 goal) I think but at 19 and being the most expensive ever Scottish player I'm glad he opted to go to Germany (and playing for a team occupying the freakin top spot in the table!) than going for a mid table club in the PL as plenty of ex footballers and pundits thought he ought to.

Yeah, better for him to be playing at a growing club. To many of our players go down south and fade into obscurity or be bought by celtic where they walk every game and learn very little from it. Griffiths, Anya, Robertson, Adam. The list of players is huge

burke has everything to be world class in the future, but right now the attack of leipzig is far too good to let him into the starting lineup.
werner is fantastic, and forsberg, sabitzer and poulsen even more so, if you regard the fact that they have played in the second bundesliga last season.

forsberg especially is in world class form, coming up with performances like mkhitariyan did at dortmund last season.

After some time in the youth sector Uli Hoeneß is Bayern president again. Some of his first words: "Leipzig won 4:1, we have a second enemy beside Dortmund now, who we can finally attack now!" Hmmm. What did he say when Christoph Daum took cocaine? "Criminals have no place in football!"

This sanctimonious club ... The president was in jail, the chairman has a criminal record and the honorary president is corrupted. But ... but ... but ... all clubs in Spain, Italy have debts!

Leipzig is a brilliant case of how to mix youth and results

fun fact: seven players of leipzigs starting eleven played against freiburg in the 2nd bundesliga in march where they lost 2-1 (Gulacsi, Orban, Halstenberg, Demme, Sabitzer, Forsberg, Poulsen)
now they did not only win 4-1, they are also leading the first bundesliga convincingly. :D the vast majority expected leipzig to be competitive long term, but their success right now is nothing short of sensational. adding to that they play the best football right now.

Ancelotti revealed that as a kid he was an Inter and Mazzola fan but he doesn't want to train us because of his respect to former employers...

Weird dude...

That's no surprise though

Bayern is far superior than other teams in that league, besides Hamburger in past few seasons has been fighting relegation zone like hell.

HSV has been a mess for the last 10 years or so do to bad management and a disastrous financial situation. Man I do still remember their celebration when they won the relegation-game against Karlsruhe in overtime for two seasons ago which is kinda sad as they have kept on playing like shit since then. I honestly think a relegation would help them to sort out their problems as it will force them to change almost everything within the club.
