The transfer fee was fixed in the contract. The sporting director from Salzburg said that without this fixed fee it would have been impossible to get Haaland.

Why Raiola earns so much ... I really don't know. I would have been able to make a better deal for Haaland ... 4m extra hand money for the player, 1m for myself and the club would have saved 10m.

For Haaland Dortmund seems like the perfect choice. He'll most likely get a starting sport in a top team, he'll play CL football, passionate fans in a giant stadium and I think the environment is also more patient than in similar clubs.
