So while Hamburg are going to play in Zweite Liga for seventh season in a row their city rivals St. Pauli clinched promotion to Bundesliga for the first time since 2011. It sucks to be an HSV fan.

It's a bit funny as Kane left Spurs to win titles only to end up trophyless at Bundesliga serial winners. Nothing to do with Kane himself of course who is having a great debut season in Germany. Bayern have issues that haven't been addressed for years and if Dortmund hadn't choked against Mainz they would have been trophyless last season as well. But it's still a funny story.

Well, but if someone from this Bayern team deserves a trophy it's Kane.

I hear Audi is a shareholder and they often hand out trophies.

Grande Gosens surviving relegation battle. From almost assist in CL on the Lukaku fuckup to this mess, still happy end.

What a match. Crazy scenario in the end with another penalty miss. Gosens in tears. So glad they are staying.

Unfortunately my favourite Bundesliga club Freiburg will not play in Europe but they missed their chance earlier.
Congrats Bayer
:ROFLMAO:

Bayern throw away yet another 2-0 lead and finish 3rd with Stuttgart's resounding win.

Heidenheim finish in a potential European spot in their first-ever Bundesliga season.

Reus scores a free kick goal in his final game in Dortmund.

Union scores in stoppage time to escape the relegation play-off.

Oh, and Leverkusen become the first-ever undefeated team in the Bundesliga.

Another great day, and another great season of the Bundesliga. Bis später...

Bayern finishing 3rd was the icing of the cake in a great season.

Leverkusen winning Bundesliga unbeaten. Stuttgart having an amazing league campaign and ending up second. Last dance for Reus at Dortmund. Hoffenheim returning to Europe.

Darmstadt and Koln to Zweite Liga. Bochum to relegation playoff.

Right! What a beautiful footballing story. Fairytale-like. The guy who took them from fifth division back in 2007 and led them to Bundesliga. The guy who was only supposed to be an interim coach and ended up bening the longest serving coach in Germany. The fact he was born in the small town of Heidenheim and spent last years of his footballing career at the club makes it even more beautiful. But better share a lovely article about him that was written back in 2020.

Also a cool story about club's background:
Reminder to this. Massive success. Amazing story.

We got Bayer,Heidenheim,Stuttgart...Bundesliga rocks.

Feeling sorry for Koln but it is what it is. At least it's not both Koln and Union in one season.

And he might end up at Lazio next season.

Feeling sorry for Koln but it is what it is. At least it's not both Koln and Union in one season.

Heidenheim's first home game this season was against Hoffenheim, and in that game they took a 2-0 lead into the 2nd half, looked to be well on their way to christening their stadium's first BL game with a win, and then it all collapsed in the second half. Three goals conceded, 3-2 defeat, two successive losses in their first two games, and if that could happen in a game where you expected they would be in great spirits, then it seemed very easy to believe that this would be a very, very long season for Heidenheim, a season where just being in the Bundesliga at all was still a great accomplishment for the club, but a season that might see them heading back down once it was over.

They turned it around alright and finished the season well ahead of the relegation scrap, not being in any real danger at all during the Rückrunde. Their fellow promotion partners from Hessen were the ones who had the truly disastrous season. They've already gotten a head start on their summer transfer signings as well, so hopefully they're able to put together another solid campaign next season too.

Bochum...what a result. 3-0 in away game to catch 0-3 from home. And what an idiotic penalty from Uchino,so glad he missed.

So Leverkusen won the double after beating Kaiserslautern in the Cup final which sends Heidenheim to Conference League. Bochum turned things around in relegation playoff against Fortuna Düsseldorf, beat them in penalties and secured another season in Bundesliga. And that's a wrap up for the season in Germany.

Like I've read somewhere else: 'You can take Kane away from Spurs, but you can't take Spurs away from Kane'.

Kompany new manager @Bayern. Belgium media are all up in the air for Kompany. Even Guardiola gave encouraging words to Bayern in order for them to hire Kompany. Sure, since Bayern are a rival for the CL. Who wouldn't want to weaken their rivals? :)

Incredible how Kompany who hasn't done, accomplished alot as a manager, - after one miserable season in EPL where he got relegated, and now to perenial CL contenders... What are Bayern thinking?
