Up your ass PECKERman!!!!!:finger: :ass:

The only one I feel sorry for is Cuchu.:( Damn, why didn't Sorin shoot that penalty, it would've been the perfect scenario to see him miss.

I was wondering why Tevez didnt take one since he really wanted to kill Lehman with his penalty?!?!?

Shocker. Maybe I'm considered "g@y" or "un-macho" but this is football, not World Wrestling Federation. Ban Cufre for life. :finger:

Pekerman seems to be a passionate coach, but leaving J.Zanetti & Samuel are shockers and he paid for it. Good riddance, but what a waste. A proper full Argentina team will have a very very high chance of winning this World Cup.

Sorin as captain. :lol::lol::lol:

This result is still better for Argentina than the last World Cup, when they're failed go to the 2nd round. The worst thing, that I saw Javier Zanetti was crying after the game versus Sweden.

In the World Cup 2006, at least Argies goes to quarter final, too bad, they met Germany and defeated in the game.

The bad thins about this match are :
1. Argentina lost
2. The match was ended with chaos, and some Argentine player forget about the theme of World Cup 2006, "It's Time To Make a Friends".
3. The worst thing, Pekerman didn't bring Zanetti to the squad, and this could be the good thing, because if he is in there, I might see he is crying again.

everything that has been said in this thread so far is correct, I can't try and defend anything that we did wrong.

Absolutely heartbroken, especially for someone like Roberto Ayala to miss a penalty, its a shame that people like Heinze let the team down by not marking Klose when he scored the goal. Saying if is a wonderful thing, but if only Zanetti was there, if only Burdisso was there, if only Messi was there, if only Roman was there, if only Crespo was there.

Pekerman is the definition of an arrogant fool, take off your best players in the biggest match of his life. About the performance, we did what we had to do except for the final 10 minutes.

I'm not going to argue with anyone about cheating or diving, because they will most likely be correct but how was it not a handball by the German defender in the 83rd minute, I've been rewinding and pausing that all day today and I can't believe a penalty wasn't given, Tevez was going ballistic at the ref, ironically they didn't even show a replay of it, but Maxi didn't deserve a penalty when he was brought down because the defender did get Maxi and not the ball, but Maxi is a disgrace for falling over like that.

About the fight, Cufre should be banned for life, I do not condone that, Maxi should get a life ban for attempting to kill Schweinsteiger but from what I've read, Heinze & Tevez should be applauded because Bierhoff ran past Ayala who missed a penalty and taunted him about missing the penalty, to which Heinze went absolutely nuts about and Bierhoff ran screaming "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" in English.
Also, I've read about Argentine players trying to put off the German penalty takers, is that wrong? is not allowed?

Regarding the future for Argentina, its a disaster that players like Ayala & Zanetti will never feature in a World Cup arena again, but my brother called me and said that there were hundreds lined up outside of Pekerman's house, all the windows were broken but the mood was much of heartbreak than anger, with chants of "Messi, Messi, Messi" and a rumour was that the Argentine FA were going to resign, and a new board with Maradona, Redondo, Kempes, Ruggeri leading the line with Valdano as coach with Javier Zanetti as captain.

congratulations to Germany.

Vamos, vamos Argentina, no te deja, no te deja de alentar.

Respect to catanha :star:

I've just read that Maradona was not allowed in the stadium by FIFA officials. Reason: he's too loud when he sings with his friends...

If true, then this is great, a bit too late but still it might ease the pain for few of the players and specially our own Javier.
Having said I wont blame Zanetti if he now decides to retire from international football.

He won't, he said clearly that he won't give up and he will keep work hard to regain his place in the NT.

Good to hear that, I just can't remember him saying that though. But I'm sure you are right. ;)

There you go mate:

Will you end your international career after this exclusion?
"On my part this is certainly not the end. I will continue to work like I have done in all these years so I can return to defending my country's shirt. There will be many matches and I still hope I can play in a few."

Like always, GRANDE JAVIER, always humble.
I would like to read his words after the yestarday match, and know if he wants to continue with Argetnina NT or not.

I dont believe that´s correct.

Maradona didnt want to enter to the stadium ´cause one of his friend wasn´t allowed to enter.

Anywayz, poor tactical choices from Peker. Too bad Argentina is out, i would´ve loved to see Argentina vs Italia match.
