Well there is also a rumor / theory that Sassuolo do not want to qualify for Europe because then they would need to be in FFP compliance and their books would be under scrutiny.Reality. I’m glad he said it even if it pisses off his owner. He still has a team to coach and they seem to only want to play when they want to play. Anyone can get up to play the big matches, it’s the games like yesterday against Cagliari where you should be picking up points consistently. If they were more consistent against the smaller teams they would be pushing for a European place, which they should be based on the prices being quoted on half their squad.

Also keeping in mind the money earned from competing in the Europa League is negligible never mind that from the Conference League.
Prime Belotti was a pretty damn good player.I would not spend 20M on this guy. By the looks of it he wont be better than prime Belotti.
The names you name aren't convincing indeed. But there are a lot of good forwards available coming summer if the rumours are true (sadly we don't have the money for a lot of them): Mbappe, Nunez, Haaland, Lukaku, Dybala, Jesus, Isak, David, Gouiri to name a few. But again, sadly we are not fishing in this pond...the numbers of skilled goal-getter are extremely rare right now. some names available isnt really convincing., Scamacca, Beto, Haller, Belotti, zapata, Simeone, Pinamonti etc...........................
none of them could really dominated the game like Ronaldo, Vieri, Drogba, Crespo, Ibrahimovic, Henry, Filippo Inzaghi, Shevchenko, Del Piero, Trezeguet, Nistelrooy, Raul Gonzalez, Aguero, Luis Suarez, Totti etc
If we get Dybala, and we don't have to sell Lautaro (as Pedulla reported pas week), I think our starting forwards will be Lautaro-Dybala(when fit). With Correa as a Dybala backup, i wouldn't mind Scammaca as an Lautaro back-up. But you are probably right, Dzeko isn't going nowhere.Dzeko has one year left in his contract and Inzaghi loves him. I doubt we will offer him a golden handshake. He will probably stay for one more season.
And that's the issue with Scamacca. Even if we disregard completely the issue of the price and we look at it stricty from a sporting point of view, i have my doubts Scamacca is what we need. We don't need him to be a backup. We need him to come to Inter and bench Dzeko. I don't think he's good enough to start for Inter. At least not yet.
That's what we hope for. Dybala-Lautaro starting attacking duo with Dzeko and Correa coming from the bench. But with the way Inzaghi has managed his forwards this season i wouldn't be surprised if he benched Dybala for Dzeko. If we get Dybala, and we don't have to sell Lautaro (as Pedulla reported pas week), I think our starting forwards will be Lautaro-Dybala(when fit). Exactly this. We are in no position to spend 40M on a player who can't bench Dzeko. Maybe try and get someone on a expensive loan deal which will end after 1 year and try again next summer for someone who can be decisive for us.Dzeko has one year left in his contract and Inzaghi loves him. Agreed. But if we somehow manage to get Scammaca on some kind of Juve-esque loan deal, i wouldn't mind him. I think, as most of you, he isn't ready to start for a club like Inter and doubt he will ever be. But Italian forwards are some special breed. We can't be certain what his ceiling is gonna be and i do trust Marotta in his judgement.Exactly this. We are in no position to spend 40M on a player who can't bench Dzeko. EDIT:
I don't like this strategy for a bit but we are in a f*cked up position and if we want to keep our club sustainable we shouldn't make deals for these amounts we are talking about unless we are certain the player will be a starter.(Certain is some way because ofcourse you are never certain if a player will succeed at the club).
That would be a good deal but I doubt Sassuolo will accept such a deal because there will be a lot of clubs searching for a striker this summer. Especially if we sell Lautaro it would mean Scamacca will need to lead our attack and that makes me a little bit uncomfortable if we want to keep challenging for the Scudetto etc.Agreed. Definitely. Scamacca is so highly rated (price-wise) because he's Italian and Italy lacks true number nine forwards. NT is in almost crisis mode regarding a striker position specially if Immobile retires NT career, EVEN IF he's been a letdown in NT.That would be a good deal but I doubt Sassuolo will accept such a deal because there will be a lot of clubs searching for a striker this summer.
