While Roma offer is 27m€ for the loan + obligation (if CL qualification + appearances). So we offer less but guaranteed.

I love this transfer if we pull it off. Scamacca has proven he can score in this league with 15 goals from open play. He's a capable header of the ball and has a rocket of a foot. He has the physique we're missing in attack after losing Lukaku and Dzeko. He's a bit of a poor passer, but he can knock down the ball and at least provide us with an outlet up front.

My concerns are centered around his consistency and last season's injuries. Hopefully rotating with Thuram could keep him healthy.

He's a much smaller risk than Balogun at his price, perhaps with limited upside.

Scammacca is the closest thing to Dzeko and Lukaku which we are linked with.
I also have concerns about his injuries last season. If we can pull off this up to 25mln should be ok.

Maybe the offer is a ploy to try and reduce the asking price from balogun. I v been reading all day yesterday and even today how balogun is our first choice and now all of a sudden this offer almost out of nowhere for scamacca. Well, we'll see I guess...
