He was expensive since we bought him so his value must be more than 70-80mln to be profitable
His value on the books is lower than his initialy transfer fee. If we don't consider the possible bonuses, it was around 33M AFAIK. That over 5 years and remove one year (last season) and we're at ~27M.

Frattesi just seems quite committed to this Inter. If he wants to experience EPL, then by all means. I remember him commenting year ago he's not ready/interested to go abroad yet. Which doesn't exclude he might want to do it later.

I personally like Frattesi, he’ll definitely bring a lot of profit in my opinion

What do people think, will we use the buyback clause of 12m next summer for Fabbian?

Based on the season so far almost definitely yes. Given his game time he's gotta be worth more than 12m. Could see an agreement to push it back a year to 15m for example though, but he's gotta bw worth it atm

I am afraid we will buy him and sell him elsewhere...which would be a shame, we need more 'our' players.

it really depends on the rest of the season, but right now, we'd buy him and most likely loan him for 1 or 2 seasons. Within 3 years, realistically, there's a strong chance we need to replace 3 of our midfield (Mkhi, Ziel, Hakan), and that creates space for Fabbian.

But it really depends on the rest of the season, he needs to break through to the first team properly, he looks like he's a rotation player atm

Sounds good. Replacing let's say Miky with Fabbian next summer would possibly not go well with Inzaghi. :D And I think Inzaghi has earned some trust and say in terms of what players he's been given.

Yeah that's why I say 2-3 seasons. Fabian needs to be a regular Serie A starter before we think about a place at Inter, and he's not got that yet. But timing wise I think Mkhis contract expires in 18 months currently? If so that timing could work out well

Yeah. I'd like to see him break through to starting consistently

And everytime I look him play, he's not part of the play making, I wonder how that suits to Demone. In his first season he scored 5 goals, he was always there in the box and now too he's in a pretty offensive role.

He is not starting because he is playing quite poor. Might be the manager change and so on but he is poor all around (finishing, passing etc)
