It's just cat and mouse. Cairo is just looking how long Marotta can keep it together. January clause of 15m€ is looming there so Cairo basically has to sell with our terms. I guess he's banking on the player's will which at the moment is still only Inter but in August it might change if the transfer isn't progressing and he would want to go to CL already now for the autumn period before the World Cup.

It's a risky for Cairo too since if Bremer wants only Inter till the end, the value goes lower and lower every day in August. But it requires Inter to accept that Bremer comes like 1-1.5 month after the season start.

But why he still has a contract with Torino is his own fault. He could've been here already, if he wished to be here so much.

Smart from Torino to have him under new contract, even tho that 15mil is kinda weak shit for them, okay for him because he has choice what to do with his own career and we are in a good enough position to get a borderline world class defender for cheap.

If a miracle happens where De Vrij and Skriniar aren't sold this summer, getting Bremer in January is one of the better options for us, then we can offer Skriniar a new contract while De Vrij stay with us until his contract ends.

Luckily I am not at Inter's management, because my head hurts just by thinking about it. Obviously I'd love it if we managed to sell De Vrij and get Bremer as soon as possible. That's a low chance option right there, I think.
