Whats the hold up on Bremer?

Is it soley on the sale of Skriniar, and why only him? Can Dumfries not be sacrificed instead as reported early June. I really like Bremer and I think we can add alot to our backline.

If you keep Skriniar, sell Dumfries, and sign Bremer you have a glaring hole at RWB and no funds left to spend. It's clear there's no market for de Vrij.

I find a late bid for de Vrij is just inevitable as Chelsea and MU are struggling to buy CB. Spurs too, I don't think they're done after getting Lenglet on loan. But then finding an adequate replacement for Dumfries will be hard, Molina seems good but wont be much cheaper than Dumfries.

Just saw a rumor that Chelsea are ready to offer 40mln and 3 years deal for Koulibaly. I don't think that SDV is a priority for someone. He could be sold at the end of the window, if some club couldn't get their targets and need an urgency patch.

I don't want to lose Dumfries. He had a newbie year, but still awesome g/a statistics. We can sell him in the next 2 years for max value ( 60-70M€) if he's consistent . We saw how Serie A sides, even top ones struggled vs Denzel. Bellanova is a kid , Denzel can handle pressure.

Well, all of our wingbacks can play on the left, it's only Gosens that can't play on the right. Plus DiMarco can play there as well, albeit not that good

I don't think we can survive a season with only 3 proper WBs in the roster.

He and his agent really fucked up with that contract extension.

Like I suggested in the whatsapp chat, we should promise Bremer that we'll sign him in January and we give him 500k more salary per year + nice signing bonus like 1-2m€ for the waiting. All this given there is the 15m€ clause.

Imo the way Cairo is dealing with Inter re Bremer is pretty similar to the way Inter is dealing with PSG on Skriniar. Only difference is Cairo extended Bremer's contract, which was a huge success for them, and Inter didn't have to because Skriniar wants to stay.
