Always and only Inter. Gleison Bremer is one step away from the finish line, to the point that - as reported by Sportitalia - the closing is scheduled between Monday and Tuesday. All this net of the situation involving Skriniar , with Paris Saint-Germain always strongly interested. But Inter know they can't wait any longer, there have been various attempts to overtake, but since DECEMBER the Nerazzurri club - as told and anticipated - has received the yes of the strong Brazilian. Operation of about 30 million, any bonuses, we will see if with the involvement of the young midfielder Casadei . But what matters is that Inter are preparing to crown a very long chase.

Skriniar definitely will be sold but I'd say Bremer as a player is better than Skriniar was at 25. Skri didn't really hit peak levels until the last two years. I think it's entirely possible Bremer becomes as good if not better than Skri in a few years.
It'll still sting losing him but something to keep in mind.
I care if we've spent months for this deal and the end result is 35m + Casadei (he's probably valued 5-8m€ so the overall value is like 40-43m€). We could have done this deal with this offer when the past season ended.
Let's hope Di Marzio is wrong like he's been off for most of the summer with Inter.
Like said, Casadei is not the important thing here. It's good we can generate some plusvalenza with him. Probably the buyback is at least double, might be even more, depending what the sale price ends up being.
But Bremer cash part is what bugs me. Bremer has been Inter-bound for some time already so it was just about the price at this point. IMO Marotta did what he has been always doing. He tried to negotiate the price down and he simply failed. Spent months and ends up paying what was originally asked. Maybe the outrageous ask of 50m€ is something he can brag about he managed to come down from that, but it's really nothing to brag about since it was just Cairo tripping. We had the player totally booked, he wasn't listening anyone else.
I'm totally on brehme train here that this is what Marotta does. He thinks he can negotiate prices down but he just fucking seems to be incapable of doing so and ends up spending lots of time in the process.
