Welcome in Sasuke! Maybe you can fill the void that was left by our former Hong Konger, Carson. :D

Ciao,

Speaking of Hong Kong, it seems we have fans in (almost) ever Asian country. Do we have any fans from Japan though? It seems like the only big football supporting country in Asia that we have fans lacking in.

Ciao,
Tim

Mikitty told me she likes Inter, so it must be popular.

Jokes aside, Japanese are surely a soccer nation. They have a good league, and many players playing outside. I guess having Nakata and Nakamura play in Serie A got it more exposure there. So I am pretty sure there are Inter fans there, but I think the EPL is king there.

Actually, i think the Serie A and La Liga are more popular in Japan than the EPL. From pictures of Japanese football fans, you can usually see more Italian club jerseys being worn than the English ones.

I could be mistaken, but I think there are more Japnese players in Spain and Italy than in England. I know of Inamoto with Fulham, but I don't know if he still plays regularly there.

In spain, there was the player with Sociedad (forgot his name) and now Okubo who had a splendid half-season with Mallorca and had a part in their survival. And of course we have Nakamura and Nakata playing in Serie A. (Nakamura is rumored to go to Spain next year.)
