Just checked the official rules and it says that after the goal difference is coeficent of the team from the FIFA 2006 World Cup qualifying and EURO 2008 qualifying (points obtained divided by the matches played); if still equal then fair play conduct and if still equal the drawing of lots. No penalties

From what people said in polish television that is transmiting Euro, it will be decided by the ranking. It's the first time that it will be decided like that.

They brought it up, because it was a likely situation in Italy group, if all teams got draws.

I think that is when teams have the same number of goals and it has to be THREE teams on the same points and goals.
I heard about the penalties as well... I don't like them

Won't a tie between Italy and Romania, in case everything is equal be decided on the UEFA coefficient? Italy would go through since they have a better coefficient.

In that case, even this one should be based on that and not penalties.

As Romania has to lose, Italy needs one point, thus France will get one point. Actually, I think that if Holland beats Romania 3-0, and Italy-France ends at 0-0, then we'll have a triple tie with same goals scored and conceded

Now I didn’t watch the first half, but based on the sec half Turkey deserved to win this one – what a great finale that was!
