Totally agree, and Ronaldo actually stepped up which surprised me most... Though i blame RVP & Cuntelaar for Hollands exit :eek:blivious:

I wanted Holland & Italy to win, sad to see them go.. forza italia!

Dont u go sweating it Martijn... They are shit. Just watch... Portugal will get owned big time... Denmark might cause trouble here & there, but at the end of the day, bosses will be bosses! I think people hear CR7 & then suddenly think Portugal is all that...meh: ...until they prove me wrong, I can never loose sleep on them. Nani by himself can change games, CR7? not so sure.

Gotta love it that I got this group right :slick: One of 9 people to have Portugal advancing :)

Portugal need one good CM in place of Raul Meireles (They have one in Danny but he is out injured) and one ST. Postiga is not that bad doing off the ball work, but he is among the worst in the Euro when it comes to on the ball ability.

If Ronaldo and Nani are in form then they will surprise few teams. I was impressed with Almeida in one of Portugal friendlies, was a proper target man. They should at least use him.

One can only hope.:dino:
Our U-17 won the Euro for the second time in a row a few weeks ago... And, just like last year, from Germany in the final...

Unfortunately the senior old men team couldn't do the same.

Although it could sound quite awkward because I'm a German, but I really hoped that Netherlands would have made it to the ko-stage. :depress:

I read that not even a single player who won the U17 few years back was in Dutch sqaud for this Euro. So must have gone horrible wrong somewhere.

Nicklas Bendtner has been banned for one match and handed an £80,000 fine by UEFA as a result of his goal celebration against Portugal.

Article 18.18 of the Regulations of the UEFA European Football Championship 2010-12 states: "All kit items worn during the final tournament must be free of any sponsor advertising."

Bendtner claimed the underpants, which bore the logo of a Dublin-based betting firm, were 'lucky'.
