Italy got what they deserved. The offence was poor due to the class players left at home. But the biggest issue is the defence, never seen such a poor italian defence. It was just horrible.

It sucks to watch a national team which is struggling to play well (that's pretty much the case with the Hungarian NT 90% of the time) but it sucks much much more to watch a Nt not even TRYING to play well even if they could. especially at the greatest worldwide celebration of international footbal: the world cup.
I did not bother the french because I simply didn't give a penny about them, but Italy wasn't better one bit. not one bit!

If you notice carefully, the player is IN FRONT of the line before the ball arrives, when there's contact, his knees move backwards, meaning that he has moved a step back, but the ball is already on the rebound... NO GOAL. You should contact some doctor to check your eyes if you believe it was a clear goal after watching the original replays from the game

He didnt call Cassano, Balotelli, Cossu and Grosso that deservers to be in World Cup. This the price that Italia paid.

I knew they had no shot of winning it, but I still firmly believe that if Buffon and Pirlo played 90 minutes in all three matches, Italy would have won that group.
