With better finishing, this game could have been 3/4 - 0.

Torres has some mental problem or something, 2 clear chances all alone.

I'm gonna blame fitness since he's coming back from injury but those were two pretty poor misses

A Saudi ref and Villa gets red carded there...What was he thinking let alone doing?

Would've been a soft penalty there but #23 definitely didn't play the ball as he bullied over Torres

Xavi game is too slow, i would change him for Silva or Cesc.

Spain look fine but will be kicking themselves for not getting a couple more goals in that half.

They look good in terms of their width and direct play but are lacking in the middle which is usually their area of strength...I could see Cesc coming on for Xavi...If Torres continues to blow chances, might see Pedrito! or Silva back on

Ya, I'm rooting for Spain to score a ton of goals so they can finish first. I don't want to see Brazil vs. Spain in the round of 16.

LOL @ Villa. The easiest way to score a goal for the hattrick, he blew it.

You can't blame the ref, but slo-mo makes it so obvious that it was a dive. He gets hit, stays up for a split second, then makes the decision to pull his leg back and fall down.

Wow, not even on target? I expected better.

Spain just wasted so many chances tonight, the all important goal difference might bite them really hard this time..Again they just tried to walk into the net with the ball like they always do instead of just hitting the damn thing on target..Chile has now proven to be a very tough team to beat, if they can hold Spain on a draw they are going to gtfo of SA..

Agreed...Mostly disappointed in Torres tonight, should have had at least 2 goals tonight...Cesc a bit too cheeky with his attempt on the empty net and gave the defender enough time to clear it...Villa missing the pk is never a good thing...Goal tally will be very important but as it stands, atm, Spain are in 2nd in the group - ahead of the Suisse.

Suisse will need to beat Honduras and beat them with a reasonable scoreline...Spain & Chile will be a fight

Just wondering, why do you call it "Suisse", but not, for example, "Espana"?

I was expecting much more from Navas also.

Match ball against Chile, same situation than England, Germany, Italy.
