Hacked

Hi guys, just wanna tell you that something happened to me last night. My emails, facebook, Amazon and God knows what else was 'hacked' by some asshole. So if I appear to ask you for some money or private information, do not give it. One of my good friends already fell to this scam and he lost a few hundred bucks.

I have recovered those accounts though, and this time gave a harder password and security questions.

I think those 'hackers' did it by solving by ultra-simple security question in one of my accounts. The hacker was local (Indonesian) and my question was "Where was your mother born?" So if you guys took it simply in the past like I did, better change it now before the same thing happened to you.

He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer though. I'm pretty sure he 'hacked' me by the security question thing which I mentioned, but he didn't change it as soon as he could so I could 'hack' back in. All this even though he had a 2-3 hour head start.

Oh well thank God.

Finally recovered my fb account.

And now I found out that you can't change the security question.

Well that's dumb.

If you mean your password then you just need to change your password.

If you mean the answer to your secret question incase you forget your password then you need to change the email account associated with your facebook. (You cant change this question or this answer that I know of, but it sends the your password to your email so whoever is hacking your profile must know your email password too. Thats why you need to change that)

If you cant get onto your account anymore because you dont know the new password make a new account and tell facebook that your old one was hacked and needs to be deleted.
