Dont know much about this guy but I hope we dont regret signing him. Hope he does a Darmian on us than all the failed Turks at Inter.

Darmian, Sanchez, Lukaku, Young...let's hope that Inzaghi can do the same magic as Conte and that the squad will help him to become better

It's 5m/season plus 1 fucking million bonus so essentially 6m. What a joke of a club.

Biasin: "The entourage of Kessie is quite annoyed by the offer of the Milan which is between 4 and 4.5 million, while the request is 6 "

Another free transfer next season.

And that's why i don't want Inter to pass to the hands of a hedge fund. These guys set a wage limit. They invest in youth, they improve them but when they need to give them increased salaries they have no choice but to let them go and start over. It's a never ending cycle that only leads to you becominga feeder club.

Milan have trouble extending the contracts of almost everyone. There's even distance with Calabria. They only made an exception for Zlatan.

I say we strengthened Milan by taking this shithead off their books. Now a huge chunk of our wage is spent overpaying this guy, who has done nothing in his life to justify earning above the likes of Lautaro, Brozovic, Skriniar, de Vrij, Barella, while Milan is freed up to spend their money on a better player - which they could probably find lining up for Campbell's Chunky Soup at a homeless shelter.

Whatever. I've already enjoyed a scudetto and I'm ready for the insanity of our next few years. Bring it on.
Good idea. I will use the old Darmian magic.

But our players are to blame for not wanting to take a paycut /s

I think Ramos was telling everyone not to agree on a wage cut because the money will be used on signing Mbappe. At least by taking a wage cut, they'll strengthen their attack alot. Calhanoglu is 3m/year at best; unless we are using our metric of giving Mediocre or finished players high ass salary.

It' s the salary for me-- he would be a good bench/ rotation option for like half of what he's reportedly signing for, but that's it.

He's far too inconsistent to be a top player. The only thing I like about him is that cannon he has on his right foot. Otherwise he's a bang average player.

I would be more concerned about players getting pissed off that we just offered a huge salary to a player like that.

So the owners wants to cut overall wages by 20%, yet signs an utterly mediocre player like Hakan on no less than 5m€ net (6 with bonusses apparently).

You better hope he turns out good, because with that kinda salary he will be IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of, no club in their right mind will match that salary.

Shockingly bad deal by Inter in my opinion.

5m€ + 1m€ bonus is just too much. No way around it.

Pedulla says 4.5m€ + 1m€. Biasin says 5m€ including everything.

But the contract length, it will be only 3 years. That's perfect. It's not an endless commitment.

We need to remember at what situation the management are at the moment. They lose asset like Eriksen, just like that (or no one knows will he be able to return). They need replace this asset. They cannot go to the market and buy 30m€ player, because we don't have funds to pay the fee. The club wants to get the balance sheet in order.

Adding free asset, although high salary, is the obvious choice. Loan would have been another option, but that market is more active only in August. Hakan decision had to be made now. If they hadn't do this, they would have to be very creative figuring out how to replace Eriksen later in the summer. No guarantees of properly roled players available.

I actually think he'll be quite good for us. Not the worst signing, especially for free. In a midfield three I think he will be decent. Good replacement for eriksen giving our circumstances. Great that we are fucking over milan also

If he's the specific request of Inzaghi, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for the first few months. Hopefully he proves us wrong like Darmian.

Inter and Hakan Çalhanoğlu have reached an agreement with a salary €5 million per season and a 3-year contract, the Turk will undergo medical tests tomorrow.

I just don't fucking understand all the hate here!
What part of "we are i financial trouble" you don't understand? And that after one month coming from our management not from from a fucking journalist! Even worse. we lost one of key midfielders because of a fucking heart arrthythmia!
Yes, I would love also to buy Locatelli, Vlahovic, Gosens, SMS, but this is fucking impossible!

Marotta said crystal clear, that we need to sell one or two of our talents but in the same time, we need to remain competitive! For me Hakan fullfill these criteria! If you look of cost, risk and reward, actually is not a bad transfer at all! Yes, the salary is big, but the overall cost is not, because the comes as a free agent! The risk is also pretty low. Yes, he could be another Guglielminietro. No one knows! But what we know is that he played in Serie A at a club with the same pressure as Inter, he was one of their most consistent players (he and Kessie) and he is also young enough for the lenght of his contract (unlike Sanchez, Vidal or fucking Nainggolan).
What we need in this moment is to avoid catastrophies like Mario,Dalbet and Gabigol. We are not in a financial situation to allow another fuck-up of those caliber.
We all know who he is. I not expect to become way better. Maybe only marginally better in a new system. But the risk to completely fuck up is also low and the overall cost is acceptable. And this is the most important thing.

So what? Hakan is not good enough and it’s not “half Eriksen’s salary”, he’s looking to be one of our top earners.

He’s not good enough for this club AND he’s a piece of shit. Fuck this. We’re going from a Scudetto winning side to an EL qualification candidate.

Ehmmm Hello? You go realize we can’t purchase any players cos we have no fucking money right??

I'm not pro-Hakan but I feel with our budget that this is a great deal. If we would have 200m ready to spend and this was our target then I'd not have the same opinion of course. For me it feels like people still think that this Inter is capable of something more than selling in this situation. Us getting a player from a direct rival for free is a big win for me.
