Impressive goal and assist, however he did show signs of the sloppy play he's somewhat notorious for.

Inzaghi did well to move him out of midfield once that started.

This guy is a legend... every time he scores or assists, Milan forum is instantly in a mess and they are declaring internal war there :yao: Ban ban ban everywhere.

It's super entertaining to a new level. I love it. Get Kessie for free next year pls.

So far he is proofing me wrong. He had an impressive pre-season and what a debut! Hope he can keep it up because I have the feeling that his performance will be decisive for our outturn of the season.

Lukaku was shit against big 3,still mvp of season so..

That's a bit harsh, the only club he didn't score against was Atalanta. He did was he was bought for and he got the MVP because he brought the Scudo back to Inter.

Wasn't my favourite to win the MVP, but I'm not mad at it.

In any case, he got a lot better than the slump he was in United.

He was Chellini's mouse every single game against rube. Nonexistential.

I'm not saying we can't do good without Lukaku, but we still won the league with him. We also scored a lot of goals in two seasons after a decade of not-so-high-scoring football. We knew Lautaro-Lukaku duo is not perfect, but we also kept saying the mantra that if we beat all the lower and mid sides, we have a chance for a Scudetto. So we did just that and it was worth it.

He had issues against one of the smartest and most cunning CBs in the league? Wow what a shocker. Lukaku was also stopped by Koulibaly, but I still thought he was an important factor against Napoli. If you ever played football against somebody that knows how to defend, you would know that it's easy to comment 'attacker was shit', but that's what defenders job is - making opposition look clueless and bad. Not every attacker that Bastoni-De Vrij-Skriniar stop is a bad attacker. Just because Messi never scored against Inter that doesn't mean Messi is shit.

Some of the fouls Chiellini drew were amazingly bullshit, but it is what it is. People love Icardi because he loved to score against Juventus, but overall it barely meant anything in the long run.

So back to Hakan. Great start by the dude. I don't wanna sound like a hypocrite, but you can't really say he could be the best player for us this season after one game. Lukaku deserved the accolades, now it's time for Hakan to prove his own worth.

Chill dude. As much as I think Milan, Napoli and Lazio will be tough to beat, Atalanta will be a bloodbath of attacking football that hopefully we win, it's impossible to say what will happen, while Allegri and Mourinho will do ANYTHING to nullify Calhanoglu, Lautaro and Džeko. I'm not saying those 3 will absolutely be in the top4 this season, but they will be the toughest opponents for this Inter for sure.
I don't think it'll be easy to nullify Hakan or Dzeko. They are not static like Lukaku for example and with their skills they can create chances for their teammates but can score by themselves as well. It won't be so easy for Roma and Jube defences but If you meant that they could kill us on counter attacks, I fully agree.

I'm sure he can be a good player for us, but his most important matches are yet coming. The kneejerk reactions coming from our fans right now is silly since we laugh at other fans when they do the same, when they hype their players. All these Lukawho posts and Hakan mvp of the season posts are a bit premature.

the way i see it, Hakan has what it takes to contribute alot to Inter. he is a nice signing. probably his biggest issue is mentality.

Isn't it funny? When AC Milan fans do it, we point and laugh. When Arsenal fans do it, we point and laugh. When Spurs fans do it, we point and laugh. I know some of our fans are just messing around, but a lot of them aren't. Suddenly posts about how we'll score more than before are popping up  it's been round 1

Don't come crying when we can't score against Bologna or some shit like that.

Well, can't say I'm no longer mad about our Mercato. Great start in the first half, got sloppy in 2nd at times but overall impressive start. Shame about the 2nd disallowed. Chuffed overall.

To be honest I always saw him playing on the sides of a midfield 3. He never had the makings of a trequartista or winger to me. Don’t know why he was played in those positions so often.
