50+m for a 30 year old player, that's a sale any financially sane club would accept when its all plusvalenza.

Not saying I want him gone but I wouldn't be suprised at all if it turns out real. At this point I have full faith in Marotta that whoever we get as replacement is going to work out just fine too so I'm not worrying.
Full absolutely biased disclosure - if he wasn't so terrible at freekicks in our shirt I would probably consider him unsellable too.

For 50 i would sell him, we have Aslani, Zielinski is coming, maybe we can snatch another player for free (Rabiot), or buy some youngster (Ricci) and try and develop him. We sold Brozovic for more then half of that, if offer comes im 100% sure we will sell.

I think it was easier to sell Brozovic because we already had Calhanoglu as his tried and tested replacement.

It is a little different trying to replace Calhanoglu. Even though we have Aslani, and Zielinski, we do not really know who will capably step into Calahanglu's boots as a replacement.

Personally, I think Aslani is too green and attempting to do so would only highlight his deficiencies. As for Zielinski, I thought he was a good option to have on the bench but not as a starter.

I do not think that Inter should assume that the transition from Calhanoglu to any potential replacement will be as seamless as the transition we had from Brozovic to Calhanoglu.

Calhanoglu plays with a chip on his shoulder, almost as if he feels that he needs to prove himself in every game. He is a competitor and brings swagger, attitude, experience, goalscoring and a sense of awe to our midfield and starting eleven. I am not sure which player, whether he is presently on our books or not, would be capable of replacing him and for that reason, Inter should think really hard before deciding to sell.

If he does not want to leave then we should not allow him to do so. However, if he is determined to leave for Germany then the club should not block his departure, especially if the offer is more than good.

Di Marzio just says the story was one month ago. Bayern withdrew as soon as we answerred their initial request "Hakan is not for sale". They didn't even make the concrete offer yet.

The media is just recooking to sell their paper.

Smokescreen rumors to reduce Joao Palhinha price i think.

I think so too. Bayern top target is Palhinha. They're offfering 40-45m but Fulham are asking for more. They're just trying to put pressure on Fulham with these Hakan rumours.

Khephren Thuram migh be interesting option to look at if Hakan is sold?

Not really. I like Thuram but he's more of an #8. He would make sense only if Inzaghi sees Zielinski as a regista. But we would be going into new season with many uncertainties.

They need both actually. Kimmich is not happy and I think he has just 1 year left in contract, doesn’t renew, doesn’t to want play RB. Same story with Goretzka.

So much this. Maybe Turkish media got info of this inquiry by Bayern and here we are. :D

Calhanoglu is much more important for us now than what Brozovic was for us last summer. Calhanoglu had basically replaced him already, he was surplus with his high salary and probably disgruntled mind (because he was "replaced").

If we were to sell Calhanoglu, the price would have to be higher than what anyone is willing to pay. Bayern wouldn't pay 60m€ for him. That would probably do it, we could go for Koopmeiners etc. but it would be still a massive risk. But, it's just speculation since there's no way Bayern will pay such fee.

The "easiest to replace" starter in our midfield. He is great, but if any sale of a starter would make sense, it would be Calhanoglu for 45+m. At least we have 3 players that can play in his position, even if Calhanoglu is obviously better than all 3 at it.

If we aren't investing that money in a right wingback or a "Zirkzee" or a starting CB - don't do it. I don't want us spending money on Bento unless we manage to sell another player for a bit more money

If it's for less than 45m, not worth it

Can't sell for less 55M IMHO, besides who can replace him on penalty kicks, given the current roster?

Expectations:

45-50m offer

Reality:

20m+bonuses

Please no more Brozo kind of pathetic deals that screamed desperation and panic to get the high earners & frequently injured out.

Hakan is in his best form, peak fitness state of the art creation by Simone. 50M€ is the base amount you buy yourself a negotiation when you're Bayern.

To strike a deal we want 10M€ more imo.

Honestly say no to Hakan sale. I want us to be competitive and get more close to Milan's title count. We are not far.

To see Fonseca and especially Motta being empty handed after 100M€ and 150M€ mercato is PRICELESS. To do that, we need our best men. Lets get that Hakan plusvalenza in 2025 like was Beppe's original kebab recipe.

It's difficult to make judgement by some random rumors, but if Bayern had approached Inter about Hakan, and got rejected, it's possible to try a different approach and to agree terms with him first. If he wants to join, then there is a chance for a deal.
