His position swap had a lot to do with it. As LCM, he had his moments but after a great start he was very inconsistent. But as a regista he is an absolute top player and one of the best in his position itw.

This has been discussed ad nauseum, but his transformation as a player has been shocking. He looks Pirlo-esque the way he’s strutting about, but with more aggression and shot-power. Shame it took this long for him to find his best role.

Interesting cause I think we all get feeling recently that we are becoming team from the last season. Only Lautaro in goalscoring form is missing.
