Adductor injuries are becoming more frequent for all football players not just Hakan. Problem is recovery time also increases with each recurring injury and it can become chronic. We need a strong enough deputy for Hakan rather than a replacement.
Oh I strongly agree with you, I'm just guessing based on how the club has operated recently.

However, we are famously shit at moving on 30+ year olds for a decent price so it might not work out that way.

I reckon he's moving on in the summer, or at least we might try to move him. Injuries are becoming more frequent, and it's the last time to cash in on him and his ridiculous improvement over the last 3 years.
Lets fucking not unless we absolutly have to
Dude is way too important for us and even beppe might not be able to find a good enough replacement

Hakan absolutely will be looked at to be sold. Not saying he will be but there is a reason Asllani is still here and being given chances despite being our worst player outside of Gagliardini since he got here. Oaktree 100% would cash in on Hakan and crown asslani the new CDM if they could. Beppe and Inzaghi need to stand up against that bullshit.

On top of that Man City’s downfall without Rodri is all the reason to not sell him no matter the offer. Inzaghi and pep have similar roles for their holding midfielders. There’s a reason both them and us fucking stink when Rodri/hakan don’t play. Hakan never gets hurt we win that final 3 or 4 to 1.

What are you basing this relentless pessimism on? You know damn well things would be no better under Suning, and I know you know this because you were critical of Suning in the later years too. Things got so bad for Suning that they literally defaulted on their loan and lost the team. Oaktree might've had reasons to begin provisionally preparing to take ownership, but ultimately they didn't take over ownership of the club until mid-May last year. The summer window was going to begin very soon at that point. While I had my criticisms as well towards some of their restrictions, it's understandable that they would want to keep things a little more reserved as they got their people in and figured out some of what was going on here.

This upcoming summer will be the real test of just how much they're willing to let Marotta and Ausilio operate the squad in the way they see fit, and if they're squeezing the fuck out of us, both in terms of not allowing noteworthy transfer fees nor allowing free transfers due to age/wages, we can have that discussion then, but what you wrote above is just negativity with no known basis for it. Marotta's close to retirement age and has talked about potentially leaving the club at the end of 2027 when his contract expires. (Hopefully he sticks around longer, even if in a more reduced capacity.) If Oaktree starts interfering too much to make it worth his while, he can very easily tell them to fuck off and leave. He has no real reason to do Oaktree's lip service at this point in his life.

Not to get too much off topic, but Oaktree remind me of some execs that come in at an opportune time, when the corporation is on autopilot, and overestimate how hard it is to actually run things. Needless to say, when shit hits the fan, those types of people are left completely clueless.

Right now we're on autopilot and I don't see them making any big moves, selling or buying.

I think you're too obsessed with Hakan. We also scored 2 goals right after he left. Was that because he was holding us back offensively that we couldn't do anything for 35 minutes? That logic cuts both ways.

Inzaghi subbed half the team out. Can't expect much at that point. Even taking into account the drop of individual quality, subs will struggle to get into the rhythm of the game.

Don't have one.
Yeah, I was just about to write about our fixtures. This type of injury was bound to happen given how much he played, so at least it's good it happened during this period. I can't imagine missing him during big games. Well actually I can, that supercoppa match still lingers in my mind...

Inter needs to replace Hakan or get a similar player like him. Hakan got injured too often currently. Ricci, Rovella, Zubimendi or even Brozo are a list of suitable name to replace Hakan.

Sell Frattesi and get Ricci. The Asslani project is finished and we dont have time to keep playing games. Pretty simple imo. Let Hakan stay one more year and rotate in and out with Ricci next year. Unless the club plans on buying some ready made holding midfielder(lmao not happening) we need to address this before it gets worse. Zielinski is not a long term replacement.

Sadly he's becoming unreliable. We need to sign a regista if we mean to win scudetto.
Don't know if Inter can afford one at this point. Probably start either Asllani or Barella in that position depending on the opponent with the added bonus of giving Frattesi more minutes.

Injured against Young Boys (1:0 win), Juventus (4:4), Empoli (0:3 win), Hellas Verona (0:5 win), Fiorentina (postponed), Venezia (0:1 win).

Except for the Juventus game we haven't conceded when Hakan was missing.

So he didn't miss too many matches this season but we also can manage most teams without Hakan.

While last season he was injured against Real Sociedad (1:1), Atalanta (4:0 win), Genoa (2:1 win).

So basically he missed 8 games in a season and a half, that's nothing. I didn't count the games he was available but sat on the bench.

Love Broz but he's checked out. If Zubi wouldnt join Liverpool or City then I doubt he'd come to us.
As i've said before Inzaghi needs to be more flexible so we dont shit the bed over 1 player.
Its ridiculous to be so reliant on 1 player, if thats what we are.

On the eye test level we play worse without Hakan, but we still get positive results without him. We'll find another player for that position when he leaves, I'm sure.
