my point is lets not overanalyse two games, give him a chance to settle and the formation/team to settle.
I'm analyzing the first 2 games, wtf? And what has corners to do with formation xd

Typical Hakan. Will boss one game, will have a stinker in the next three. He will contribute number of goals and assist but his overall contribution will be meh.

It's funny I find this type of comments here but not in Barella's thread. When Barella didn't have a better game by any mean and also is very inconsistant over the long run.

Most of the times people will excuse Barella of being tired though.

I can agree to some extend. Barella is inconsistent, but overall contributes much more to the game. I've criticized him as well, cant talk for the others.

Okey, then I'll call him yoghurt.
Yeah, but the best is kebab and yogurt which is known world wide. Together they are even better.
Boyyyzzz, have your kebab and yoghurt ready tomorrow.
Please, since you keep on going on with this - you mean Ayran:
Ayran, doogh, dhallë, or tan is a cold savory yogurt-based beverage, popular across Western Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, Southeastern Europe and Eastern Europe. The principal ingredients are yogurt, water and salt. Herbs such as mint may be optionally added. Some varieties are carbonated.

Former Lazio and Italy midfielder Marco Parolo has given his impression.
Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport in an interview published in today’s print edition, the 36-year-old stated that he believes that Hakan Calhanoglu can add more to the team than Christian Eriksen did:
“Hakimi’s departure weighs heavily, but Calhanoglu is more functional than Eriksen. In short, Inter will be ahead.”

Meanwhile, Correa, who he played together with for three seasons in the Italian capital, is a player who he believes will start regularly for the Nerazzurri.
“They keep the same form as before, the defense and the midfield and Correa is more of a starter than Sanchez who, in any case, can lend a hand,” he predicted of the Nerazzurri this season.

I've been trying to explain this since I joined FIF

What have you been trying to say?

Hakan is a consistent decent player, with very inconsistent moments of brilliance. If you play him in the hole and expect him to consitently assert himself to the game, you will be disappointed. You can't expect him to pick out the killer passes or deadly shots every game, he's not that good and I'm suspect it's more about his technical limitations rather than just inconsistancy.

But if you have a complete team and need a cog in the machine, Hakan will be good enough. He's no Barella but he's got a very good workrate, he presses and helps the defense a lot. He can also move the ball forward with fairly good range of passing and some neat flicks and tricks. If these are your expectations, then he's consistent enough. And you can also expect him to contribute 10-15 goals too, like he's managed to do every season.

Once again, stop holding the Verona game against Hakan. He wasn't even our worst midfielder that game, he performed to the levels our midfield was performing.

This is the only part of your comment what I disagree because I didn't watch Verona game and didn't make a comment about Hakan's performance against Verona.

As for the rest of your comment, I think you explained very well why I don't like Hakan.

If there's one thing for sure about him, it's that he's not a regista. Although a significant number of Inter fans believe otherwise (plus Inzaghi). The coach of the Turkish NT also made the same mistake and was disgraced in every attempt (included Euros)

So what position exactly is Hakan playing? Trequartista (no10) or sometimes attacking left winger if necessary.

What I expect from a top-notch trequartista is discipline, determination and leadership, especially in big games. The main problem with Hakan is that if he plays flawlessly in 1-2 games, he turns into a ghost in the next 5-6 games. That's how his entire professional football history was and I don't believe in the slightest that he can change in the future.

And ,yeah ! He is usually consistent against weak teams.
