His defensive display is also overrated by some. He does tracks back, but doesn't do much with that, some tackle and interception from time to time. Of course it's useful when he is a body as you say, i was saying man down just so stress how little he offers, overall.
So Hakan is a defensive midfielder after all.

We signed this motherfucker. Expecting to get an Eriksen or Ozil. We got a Gargano or Medel instead. At least Gargano and Medel make simple safe passes after winning a tackle or making an interception. This retard however gives the ball back right away to the opponents or gets dispossessed after doing so.

Then we should be playing him in their position; IMO we should play him closer to goal and play 1 more midfield to make him play like how you imagine it, so a 3-5-1-1 maybe. It is like playing Figo as a CMF. I brought up Figo cause he played as a AMF at Inter for awhile, but could pretty much play on the side, a bit closer to what Hakan is in my mind. Obviously, Hakan level is a lot lower.

With all the likely South American absents for the Lazio match I think it's better to start Hakan behind Dzeko and play Galglairdini in midfield. I don't know how else we could line-up with only one available striker. I don't consider Satriano cause he's not ready to be a starter.

This dude adapting his role in Milan for 3 years, and we hope he already adapted for 1 month with new teammates.

He even don't know his team movement. Sometime his movement and passing are clueless.

His role, position, and team are different from before, that's why he is shit.

Look his game in Turkey, so different with Milan. That's why i don't like him, he can't adapted fast.

With Latins out, we don't have many alternatives. The only other alternative is using Perisic as a forward but that leaves you with Dimarco as the only player available on the left wing. Unless Inzaghi pulls a Mourinho and starts Satriano out of nowhere like Mou did with Obinna in 2008 against Roma.

Why he wasn't called yesterday?

He returned with a knock from his international team. He played a bit against Lazio but he was feeling pain in his ankle in the previous days so Inzaghi chose not to risk it. There's optimism he can be fit against Juventus.

I feel like the only way he’ll do well (or at least decent) for us is that Inzaghi plays him behind the striker(s) Even 34 year old, drunk ass Vidal is better than Hakan in the middle of the pitch. Alas, he’s 34 and can no longer play every fixture.

This guy reminds me of Medel with all his fucking backward passing. Isn't he the one supposed to be opening up the opponents defense?

I haven't seen much of him under Milan or Turkish national team but I have closely observed all of his minutes here, and so far my impression of Hakan in a 3man midfield is a slightly upgraded version of Gagliardini. I have nothing against his style. It's just that his presence in the 3man midfield greatly hinders mobility of this team.

Yeah, Calhanoglu is simply not good enough as mezzala. He's paid like a starter but he plays like rotation option. Someone you throw in to do the basic job when you want to rest your starters.

Do we pin him on Ausilio or Inzaghi? Because I know he ain't going to be credited as a Marotta transfer...

Where's the hate here after the game? Or you're referring to that one Candreva Crosses post?
