Loool me and Drago we're pretty negative towards Hakan in Sept&October. 2 months later we are thinking about buying his jersey and put it up on our walls.
The best thing is that it wasn't just random hate because he used to play for a rival. I have been watching Hakan since his time at Hamburg. His best season in Germany was the first one at Leverkusen when he was playing close to the attack and was used as a secondary striker in Leverkusen's 4-4-1-1. Then at Milan he turned things around when Pioli stopped playing him as LCM/LW, like previous coaches did, and deployed him as an AM in 4-2-3-1. That's why i was always arguing we should use him closer to goal and perhaps we should switch to 3-4-1-2/3-5-1-1. But he has been great as a LCM for us ever since the Juve game. Another thing is Milanisti often claimed Hakan is lazy. So far Hakan is anything but lazy, even in the matches he was poor. Perhaps the fact he's fighting for a trophy for the first time in his career has motivated him. Or perhaps it's Inzaghi's ability to improve his players, like he did with Luis Alberto.

Now it remains to be seen if he can fix his other big weakness during his time at Milan, consistency.

You can't run a lot if you don't know where to run. Many here called Brozovic lazy when he was shuffled around in the midfield without a defined position/role.

Hakan was confused tactically most of his time at milan, one day he was a winger, another day he became 2nd striker, the entire milan was disoriented. He had nothing to show for his hardwork and of course people would call him lazy.

I'm hoping that Barella will pick up Hakan's shooting technique or at least move in that direction. Barella is already great for me, but with improved shooting he would be at the very top imo

Key passes in Serie A this season, this shows how well Hakan has done at Inter.

PS: Look who is at the top of the list. Our friend CandrevaCrosses will have a fit. Candreva has been having a season of his life so far.

Pfff, this isn't even close to his record he had with Inter. And brother, there is a space between CandrevaCrosses. Just as there is always space for Candreva to fake cross to then go back and do nothing.

Prime example of how one mans trash can be another mans treasure. Even aside from all his goal contributions he’s a fun player to watch, got some slick passing on him, great set pieces etc. Just like Inzaghi he seems to be an unexpected perfect fit. I'm glad we got him during his prime years too, more of this please.

Something smells foul here. I’ve rarely seen a player trash-talking his former teammates so much. Were they being racist in the changing room? Or did Ibra & Co make fun of his wife cos she’s not the typical blonde model type? Really curious to find out more.

We do have better players than Milan though, he's just speaking facts. After the goal celebration am sure he got a lot of hate in every form so should be pretty easy for him to keep digging. Legend already..

Milan is the place where everyone in there says they loves it. But they also reject all renewal offers and fuck off the moment their contract expires. Pretty telling isn't it?

They are the Qatar, China, Russia… of club football.
