His contribution overall to how we play is evident, that is why we also soared to first place. Surprise of the season so far, but it does seem he is a bit of a Lukaku type, great against minnows, meh against most big teams.

So glad he didn't play against Bologna/Lazio. Hakan was always the one getting subbed at the 70th minute. I guess we're keeping him on for the penalties. But that does prove he has a good tank when required. With all due respect to Eriksen, I must say Hakan's aggressiveness is very useful. Occasionally he could even win sliding tackles and that makes him a perfect LCM.

Him and Perišić can share the MOTM award today. He wanted to prove himself today and he did. He helped Brozo in transition, helped in defence, his passing was top notch, his positioning great. Poor guy, he didn't deserve the loss.

I would pick him as our best performer. Perisic is doing great against Trent who is close to being absent in defence and he still missed the final product while Hakan carried our whole midfield against Liverpool's.
