Sadly, I am a stereotypical American... complete with junk food and video games.

And as for football/soccer... I use them interchangeably, though I realize football is the 'correct' term.

How is it the CORRECT term? to us in America its soccer..... to people outside the U.S. its football... there is no right or wrong....

I like how things are done in Europe so much more than here in USA... for the most part. Calling it football just makes sense... the foot touches the ball.
