Like i said does this fucking club have scouts who can find some young talent. Fkn Mkhikikifuck. Old and slow.
We are linked to Asslani, who is young talent actually, and people are still complaining about him ... being young and unproven 😄
As I said, I don't mind Mkhitaryian as long as he stays injury free and Inzaghi does not overuse him, like Dzeko. I think that he could be useful rotation option, much better than 5G and Vecino.

Totally disaster if these figures are correct?

I don’t get it, there are news that we need to slash wages for 15% and Sanchez and Vidal are paid to leave cause high wages.

Then we replace them with new high wages older player like Mkhitaryan? Dybala I get for marketing reason and he is under 30, but Mkhitaryan… hell no!

Torreira would want that 2,75m and I think Arsenal would loan him to us with obligation ~10-15m. That guy is only 26 years old and would be good rotation player for years.

Brozo can play box to box role with Barella and Hakan. We could also just keep Sensi for rotation…

Lord Darmian

Dzeko, Kolarov, Nainggolan, Dodo, Mancini, Chivu, Batistuta, Dacourt, C.Zanetti. Most of them were unsuccessful here. On the other side there were a lot of good deals for Roma: Zaniolo, David Pizarro, Burdisso, Delvecchio (I didn't even know he was Inter player).

Not even rotation role justifies his signing let alone his wage. I thought we learn our lesson from Dzeko-Tammy that we should be more courageous in exploring new talent rather than recycling old farts. But hey look here is the team which is minimizing wage budget and at the same time aiming for 32 players on high wages with no resale value by the sacrifice of Bastoni's sale. I will not be surprised anymore if we offer him golden handshake after 1 disappointing year because this is how our dunce management team operates :palm:

Might as well go down the list of players with contracts expiring in 2023. We can identify next year's transfer targets a year early.

Milenkovic, Muriel, Joao Pedro, Marcos Alonso. Take your pick!

Di Biagio was mostly a good transfer from Roma to Inter, C. Zanetti less so, but he wasnt a disaster. Dacourt was a good backup until he got injured and he arrived on a free.

Im not even sure Chivu counts as a good transfer for Inter, he was often a disaster after his headinjury.

As far as Mkhitaryan goes, he is 33 years old and a shadow of his former self. This will likely be another Vidal story.

Torreira may want more then just a rotational role. Sensi is too unreliable as a backup.
As long as asllani also arrives I am ok with this deal.

My issue with signing him is that while we need to trim our wage bill and sell an important player, we will be giving him a big wages to another old player who has 0 resale value.

If we don't have to sell an important player, then he will definitely be an upgrade on our current bench options.

The guy could find his Dortmund form, score 25 goals a season, and it still won’t make up for all the Armenian fanboys that flood forum.

Was expecting this as mentioned in the midfielders thread.

Welcome il nuovo Borja Valero.

Walter Samuel
Wally was signed from Real Madrid back in 2015 for €16M, not directly from AS Roma.
Torreira would want that 2,75m and I think Arsenal would loan him to us with obligation ~10-15m. That guy is only 26 years old and would be good rotation player for years.
Sorry but Torreira only agreed to cash in 2.8M/year NET from Fiorentina while on LOAN. Then he expected the full 4M he`s earning at Arsenal - which Fiorentina did not accept to pay, hence they didn`t trigger the buy option. His agent said he would still go there if they can reach an agreement, as he would probably not start over here.

Not true!

Torreira's current salary is 1.8 million, while the agreement already in place with Fiorentina should see that rise to 2.75 million. The player has no intention of reducing a salary already agreed 12 months ago, which is also lower than that received from Arsenal.

Always the 'easy ' road with our recruitment strategy.

" hey, I think we can fill a hole with a Roma player.."

We need players with stamina and lungs, so fuck a Mikhi. Even if he's experienced. We need a player that sits Hakan to the bench, so he has to give 110%, but obv we are chasing a player who is happy to play as a late substitute and he won't be benching anyone on our mid.

There will be many games just like last season and we can see what that did to us this season, so there will be enough playingtime for everybody. It was just Inzaghi didn’t trust Vecino, Vidal, Gags to start. Asllani 5th and Sensi 6th midfielder would be good depth.

You`re right, he agreed that figure for the upcoming years with Fiorentina in case of the buy-out clause is activated.

Found your source! It seems that Torreira gave up on his Arsenal salary twice, once for the loan and once for the permanent move. 😲

In this case I`m really sorry because we`re not signing a player with grinta that really wants to play in Italy. Haven`t seen enough of that Asllani guy but Torreira is top candidate for DM, especially for 10-15M transfer fee! I mean Arsenal agreed 15M to be paid in 6 installments of 2.5 million!! o_O

Don`t know why the club is not after him to be honest!!!
