If I can put my 2 cents on him. I think he really likes to compete for championship, since there is no chance it with Roma. He never won a championship outside of Ukraine, always 2nd in Dortmund, 2nd in MAN U and EL. No title with Roma or Arsenal. So this is his last chance to get a championship and he will perform. He can even fill Perisic spot sometimes, since he did that position under Tuchel, Wenger and Mou for while. Not saying he will overtake the youngster for starting spot, but he would be good rotational player in that midfield, with good eye for cross and final pass. True, he does not score as much as his used too, but his connectivity with forwards is still there. I mean, why would he stay in Roma. You saw how bad they were against Feyenoord. Abraham is not an elite forward. Zaniolo is a selfish kid and Mou wants him to play defensive midfield. I would not stay there one minute longer.
Our nonexistent owners are the reason, this transfer is literally a product of that, aka we are in debt we don't have money to spend on transfer fees.If you're wondering why we're always stuck with financial troubles and forced to sell our best players, here's why..
yea. As a bench option he will do fine. He's also not finished. I seen a lot of people saying he's like Kolarov, which is not true at all. Mkhitaryn has been pretty solid this season and he was also very good on defense, which is a surprise cause he never really had to play it in the past. This would also finally be a guy that comes of the bench and you're not pissed as fuck, cause u expect him to mess everything up, ala Vecino, Gags or Vidal. To be honest 2 years isn’t a bad deal. He can play cover for Calhanoglu as a player who offers attacking output. With his minutes being restricted we can get a lot out of him in 2 years.
This looks like solid deal in the end.
