Not even close. West Ham net spent 100m last summer.

Should've wrote revenue, which places us below any of the big names in EPL, I think around ~7th in EPL.

Mkhi is fine. He just can't play 90 every game. Shouldn't do more than 60-65 mins.

We really don't have the $$ to replace him with a world class midfielder. I don't think people here realize we have like a mid-table EPL team budget.
I don't mind that at all. But some call for outright permanent bench after 6 games in Serie A.

Was playing great, there is no Calha free kick without Mkhitaryan.

Taremi was the MVP, but Mkhitaryan was the best player on the pitch in the first half for sure.

Had a look at the team stats: Miki had a 98% pass completion rate, while contributing the most penetrative passes to the forwards and saw 4.7% of possession in 65mins. In contrast Zielinksi saw 4.8% in 95mins.

Another stat that stood out was that Sommer was joint leader in dribbles competed 😂

I don't know man, he went straight from no goals can't shoot from outside the box to just can't shoot.

I curious what is going to happen for him to try to tap in now.

Still much appreciate his understanding of the game.

His football IQ is second to none. No flashy dribbling or sexy diagonal pass like Basto/Calha/Barella, but Mkhi is able to connect the strikers and defence line well. We do need someone like him in the midfield. But the reality is that his body may not be able to cope with starting every single Serie A match and CL this year. We just need to manage that prudently.

Dimone will turn Zielisnki into a work-horse, kindly don't worry about our midfield in the next 3-4 years. My only concern is Dimone or Marotta leaving the club.

It's super scary that our most consistent performers are 35-36 years old and still irreplaceable. Because either their replacements are not enough; or we could not afford more expensive ones to begin with.

Darmian -> Bisseck or Buchanan (theoretically)
Mikhy -> Frattesi.
Acerbi -> ??? (De Vrij is too old himself.)

Grandpas can't run as much at the end of the match, no quality subs, all our losing points have been coming from late equalizer. More so in the future.

I really thought this buyout clause would be at least something like 2m.

This is very easy call in terms of if management wants to get rid of the guy, cost is so small. Another question is then do we want get rid of Miky now? I don't think we do. He's too reliable. The season will tell.

Bastoni, DiMarco, Barella, Hakan, Thuram arent 35-36 years old..!

But yeh the defence will need some work in the next season or 2.. Beppe will sort it out. Acerbi will be difficult to replace but Bastoni can move to the middle with Carlos Augusto on the left.. its RCB i'm not convinced by - Pavard isnt great.. There are plenty of out of contracts to look at tho - https://www.transfermarkt.com/statistik/endendevertraege

When Inzaghi starts Mkhi in almost every match it's silly to even discuss a termination for him. At worst he will remain a reliable backup for Inzaghi even if he loses his spot to Zielinski. Only an Inzaghi departure could change that.

Mkhitaryan: Inter are ‘confident’ they can return to Champions League final
“Everyone thought City would score four goals against us, but we played really well and deserved to draw, and then even win,” Mkhitaryan told Corriere della Sera in an interview.

“Returning there would be a dream, although the road is longer than it was two years ago. But we believe in it: we’re confident we can get there again.”

The former Manchester United midfielder went through a rough patch at the start of the current season, but he’s now feeling in better form and aims to help his team reach ‘the level of last year’, as he admitted Inter dropped points they ‘shouldn’t have’.

“Despite the experience and desire I have, I started terribly. It’s not easy and I didn’t expect it, but I’m finding myself again and I’m doing pretty well. I’m very critical of myself,” the 35-year-old added.

“The comparison is with last year’s Inter, but we’re doing our best and giving 100%.

“We know we’ve conceded a lot of goals and haven’t taken full advantage of our chances, but we’re working to get to the level of last year. Many teams want to win this league, and we’re among them.

“We’ve dropped points we shouldn’t have lost, otherwise we’d already be at the top. We know it’s a different season and we need to do better. I’m confident.”
Good luck!

I wonder if he can ever shoot a good shot ever again.
If I coach a team to play against inter I will tell my players just deliberately leave him wide open in the box and mark the other guys.
