He should've disclosed his age to the Inter management :Ethor:

He is shit, he was declining for a while and now its getting more obvious. Also someone tell him, no team with him as a fucking starter should feel stronger than the other side.

Tbf, I wasn't a big fan signing him in the first place. That being said, he did surprisely well. However, he has declined markedly this season. Should Zielinski been the starter begining in the new year? Perhaps, but that is an Inzaghi decision.

This has to be Mkhi's last season as starter, but Zielinski doesn't seem like an adequate solution either. I'd sell him, Frattesi and also Asllani, so we can invest heavily on Nico Paz.

Selling Hakan may be kinda premmature, but I'd give him another season. We need changes in attack aswell.

Thuram is a brilliant player, but honestly I'd rather sell him than Lautaro. I'd bring in a typical goalscorer who can suit to our style of play aswell.

If it’s between Thuram and Lautaro I’d sell the captain. I can’t remember the last time we has a player who is fast and can take on players easily like Thuram. He doesnt even need to score 20 goals per season.

I thought he was one of our best performers against Juve tbh. I also get what he’s saying, although I don’t know if I agree with “unplayable.” Certainly on our best day it’s very very hard for anyone to beat us, but it’s not like our tactics can’t be counteracted or that we have a roster full of people who can win the game on their own when things aren’t going well. But perhaps he’s being a bit hyperbolic. He’s an experienced guy who has been in a lot of different locker room environments so I help he can help Inzaghi understand what’s going on psychologically and improve it.

The team defo needs a shake-up but Mkhi is not one of the guys i'd target in this - and by this i mean drop to bench/replace/blame. As long as he keeps his intensity levels up - which he generally does - i dont see he's the problem. Will also be useful as a sub to come on in the next few seasons as he's phased out, providing there is no sudden drop-off due to age.. and experienced heads are always needed.
If we replaced Frattesi with someone who was genuinely good this would give options and shake the midfield up. Plus if Hakan can stay fit and Inzaghi gives Zielinski minutes to find some form................

I have no problem with current Mikhi as a starter but Inzaghi is running him into the dirt and it’s at the point where a complete drop off is possible after a summer lay off. As others have said at some point you have to buy quality rather than quantity. Paz is quality and we can rotate him and Mikhi next year and play the hot hand. We absolutely cannot go into next year riding Mikhi like a camel as had been the case since he arrived. Mikhi and Acerbi need to be replaced. I think we can live another year with Acerbi and SDV after this one so we need to replace Mikhi this summer.

Nice 20 minute rest today. Be ready to suit up for the full 90 the next four games before the international break soldier.

I'm okay with him staying for another season to teach the ropes to the new guys incoming, but not as a starter. I know he has a lot of stamina and has slick passing, but his overall effectiveness is lower because he plays so much.

I'm so interested into who will come to replace him. Young individuals who can play like him are few and far between, and generally expensive - e.g. Nico Paz, K. Thuram, or Reinjders. Maybe we could try to convert Daniel Maldini into a LCM? I'm not totally sold on him or that idea. Would have liked us to take a punt on Bergvall, though he hasn't exactly set the world on fire at Spurs.

If it wasn't for the the Oaktree youth policy, I wouldn't have ruled out trying to lure SMS or Luis Alberto back from Saudi. My big shout would be to throw money at Tottenham for Kulusevski.

I also like Enzo Millot from Stuttgart (have a feeling he might become big, but IDK about his current evaluation) and maybe as a sleeper pick - Elmas, if RB Leipzig would be open to sell him for a fair price.

Spent some time lately going over his game and how he transitioned. He always had good workrate but its like he developed an extra lung since he joined us. Dude is a physical freak and that is what makes him so hard to replace. His credentials speak volumes but he also brings the intensity in the midfield, he lost his speed but not his stamina.
I can see why Nico Paz is viewed as his succesor but its a big maybe. I dont see Paz putting the work and covering the way Miki does. Hard to find a midfielder to bring what he brings outside big names with big salaries.

He is probably completely tired, he's been losing the ball in ways that are very unlike him.

Not sure about him starting good. We looked clumsy since minute one, especially in midfield, and of course Mkhi wasn't up to his standards. But eventually, Hakan managed to step up and set a spark in the midfield.

Barella was also shocking. Lowkey worst player in the pitch last night, but that's nothing to worry about.

I wish we had someone competitive to take over Mkhi's role now. He's been rubbish for a while now.

Mkhi was our best midfielder at the start, the only one that actually put some good forward passes, but yea, it didn't last

He would be ideal as impact sub but we can only dream that with this owner.
