Crespo was never going to play over Milito, Eto'o, Balotelli, and now Pandev. Better he go somewhere and have a chance to play than to rot on the bench at the end of his career.

MILAN - Passion is his strength, and that's something he showed in Inter colours over 117 games and 46 goals. We're talking about Hernan Crespo. It was a love story from the moment he arrived in August 2002: in his first season he hammered in nine Champions League goals. He set off for England the following year but returned in 2006 to spend another three seasons with the Nerazzurri.

Three Scudetti and two Italian Super Cups was the Valdonito's trophy haul at Inter, but as well as the titles he also won the hearts of all Interisti.

His passion, beyond his sporting merits, is another reason why F.C. Internazionale wishes to warmly salute the Argentine striker, now that he has chosen to say goodbye to Parma (his last Italian club) and the Serie A in general.
