Does already exist this Thread?

Personally, i like for example French Rap. I dont even know what they say, sometimes i go on google to see the lyrics.

But im sure it would be interessting to read how Rap is know in your country. New top songs, "old but gold" songs, your favourite rapper... all you like, you can post it here.

In italy Rap is not really on top. Most Radios "ignore" good Rappers, instead, they send some songs from teenies from talent shows. But this isnt Rap! Rap is about beeing a man not being Justin Bieber! There are still good ones, but most of them have not the deserved fame! This 2 guys are a good example:

And this is maybe the reason why i oppend this thread.

ayyyy frankie hi-nrg mc.

I also like French rap, especially Youssoupha, MC Solaar and Orelsan. Irish rap on the other hand is a bit tragic. Rejjie Snow is the only slightly appealing Irish rapper to me.

Btw, do you have any Italian rap recommendations? I've listened to Salmo, Clementino, Fabri Fibra and, unfortunately, Emis Killa, but now I'm finding it difficult to discover new stuff. Usually the songs I find are too 'rock-y' for my liking - y'know, with guitars and all that.

We are kinda a big deal in hiphop, especially for a small country like our. 7 million views for a best of?

Or our own 16year old wonderkid. (I have the pleasure to consider him my colleague)

And the amazing Šuljo, who made the most bangers for Slovenian rappers.

All three of the videos are instrumental hiphop.

So this Youssoupha seems really famous in French.

Clementino and Fibra, my two favorite rappers :slick: Emis killa is not bad. Yeah, he is a lot "justin bieber like" you know. But now he made a gratis album called Keita musica. I like it, he can rap! But there is a diss against Inter saying something like "im in the hands of the rap, youre in the hands from Chinese, Inter." (its hard to say it in English, anyway is a diss against Thohir)

Did you hear the new stufs from Clementino and Fabri? This from Clementino is a bomb. Then i reccomend Gemitaiz-Madman. hmm yeah. There are a lot of good rappers. Luchè, Nto' -one day this two they was a group called "Cosang", check it out too.

I'm not that much into Danish hiphop but Suspekt and LOC are two of the most well known hiphop acts in Denmark at the moment. However I think this guy is underrated and I will therefore pick him as an example.

Dancehall inspired the hiphop scene alot in Denmark for 3 years ago and these two songs were huge back then.

The Atlanta/Southern sound is big at the moment. I really don't like it but whatever...

Talking about French rap. Normally I'm not into rappers acting hardcore but I like some of the stuff from Kaaris. Otherwise will I recommend Hugo TSR:

Not sure if that Kesi song should be classed into southern rap, all those hi-hats and all that evolved into something new, a new brand of music that a lot of people make, everywhere over the world.

@ElDuccio - nope.

We got artists like these, I love this song.

'they spit blood like vampires with anorexia' :awyeah:

Great idea :) Best MCs here are Nokaut (Knockout) and DRS (Ndoe AKA Cmotan MC is part of it), they combined as DRS+ in the past as well.

The other Buglarian rappers are shit tbh and those guys stopped doing so much music now. Nokaut guys are alcoholics that run a hostel and the Ndoe guy is flirting with the new and shitty rappers, making some pretty disappointing tracks.

The other guy I respect is from Upsurt (Absurd, misspelled on purpose) - Itzo The Gambler :D

The whole track is a joke with the typical Bulgarian rednecks.

For all the Ex-Yu members, young duo of MC Stoposto and his producer Katarza from Sarajevo, EP called "Pruži ruku", this is the most popular song among their fans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1Speeizdko
I hope you will at least have patience to check this one, and for those who like it, there is full album on the same channel. Enjoy :D

I'm too lazy to search for couple of good videos, but I found this snipped:

Some of them are pretty old, but nowadays the "Selfmade" label is pretty successful, with rappers like Genetikk and Kollegah

And don't forget about motherfucking Moneyboy, also he comes from Austria :awyeah:
