When I turned 18 years old, I made dozens of social media accounts, with no real purpose other than to post cheesy quotes from other rich people, and put ENTREPRENEUR in all of the bios even though I had no real world experience, a company, or any viable business plan, to let everyone know just in case.

Rich, as in financial sense.

I have nothing against the feeling that a man is rich when one has other things rather than money. So if someone wants to talk about it, I won't object.

So I say, "What's the catch?" He says, "No catch, just keep it a secret." After that, he disappeared. I never saw him again.

The richest person I know just bought a house that was in development and over a few years started buying more property, either renting it out or renovating and selling. His main job is a dentist but his property management made him a multi-millionaire.

Other people I know who are well off all own business, mostly construction.

I am well off not rich.

Invested early. Got lucky. Bought a ton of stuff that tripled to 5x what I paid.

My job offered free money in a 401k match, a HSA($900- 1,300)a year for medical expenses(many companies in the US offer this if you have a high deductible plan. Have to pay out of pocket for everything before I hit $2,000 a month).

Also live way beneath your means. When I graduated I made sure I saved at least $500 a month not in my 401k. My job allowed me to put my pay check in different bank accounts. As time went on I save even more a month.

Also don’t get married. Kids are expensive, wedding are expensive. You get divorced and you lose half your stuff
