Forum Supporter10 years of FIFWhat I do know is that USA had two CLOSE losses to Russia and Canada in group play. It's not like they barely qualified (despite the last win).... I like what I'm seeing in that Habs 1st round pick.

EDIT: John Gibson looked filthy. Amazing performance by him carrying the team to a win. I'm nervous for the day when Jonas Hiller leaves Anaheim.

10 years of FIFForum SupporterDidn't bother watching the bronze medal game, but the gold medal game was quite entertaining. Amazing how the US went from 7th to 1st in one year. Things are looking good there
Just thinking aloud here; Canada's dominant cycle in the WJs was followed directly by them winning a gold at the Olympics, so I wonder if this recent cold run at the WJ's will translate to failure in 2014/18
