One thing that i found disturbing was the way Inter conceded the El Shaarawy goal.

Inters defenders failed to deal with a long, high ball into the box. They looked like monkeys !

I lost count how many times this happened last season

if you include corners in that "long, high ball" arena then yes.. god we were awful at that.. i hope there is some improvement with silvestre.

Coutinho and Silvestre were the only real positives out of this game for me... the performances were really disappointing especially considering who our opponents were missing.

everyone says this is the Jinx cup. But seeing we beat them up and our new buy played positive last night is already a good sign for this 2012 /2013 campaign.

Highlights of all games

Some nice play from Palacio in the Milan game, well taken goal.

I agree...if he keeps scoring like that often I won't say a word about the rat tail :challenge:

Too bad it doesn't count, we've won it for the previous 2 seasons too.

For me, Guarin was the standout performer for those 2 games.
He rarely made mistakes, pretty calm on the ball, showing great vision and range of passing. And don't forget the excellent movement he made for the goal.
Coutinho looks good as usual. He has great confidence now, but he needs better decision making, like choosing when to attack opponents and when to just hold on to possession.
M'baye was really good, especially in the second game against Milan. Maybe as a right-footed player he's more comfortable playing at the right as opposed to the left-back position he did for the first game. Or maybe it's just because he wasn't tested much because Milan played a narrow formation and Juventus of course played with width (Lichsteiner is always a great threat).

Overall, a strong performance from the team.
Though it could be argued that Milan and Juventus pretty much fielded their reserve team, while we were going out with most of the first team players.
We were also fitter as we have to begin the season quite early for the EL qualifier games.

Yesterday was amazing. Yeah it was only a friendship game but it was great to see BBilan defeated. I hope that we will see such amazing games more often in the next season. Grande Inter

In every competition, from age 0 to 1st team, We did'nt lost to Bilan since 6.8.2011.

One thing for sure Cuchu sucked even more, sometimes i cant understand the hate towards Chivu, but well they do say some people are blinded by hate.

Don't know about you all, but for me Fredy Guarín was the best player in the two games. And our midfield really sucks, we should really look in to Walter Gargano as replacement for Esteban Cambiasso. And i hope we return to the 4-3-2-1.

/Oh and i think Frog did good against JuBe, definitely would like to see Rano - Silvestre at some point.
