yeah im pretty pissed theres no Dimarco or Barella. Where is our attack going to go through? Frattesi is not a creative mid at all and Darmian-Dumfries there is zero creativity on the wing. Seems like were conceding possession already. If Bastoni is injured and you have to play Bisseck I get using Darmian but at least put Barella in the game. Frattesi against Arsenal is not a good fit.

If it was real, Frattesi can score goals, that's why he plays him. Maybe if Barella wasn't allergic to scoring he'd play. And none of our strikers can score either so there's that. Without Frattesi we're playing for a 0-0.

It might be smarter to try and keep a cleen sheet until 65' and then introduce Frattesi since he's the only goal-scoring threat though.

Not sure what would be the ratio behind Darmian's starting since he shied away from scoring too against City and backheeled the ball like a pussy. Maybe that disallowed goal vs Empoli gave an idea to Simone that Darmian can score too lol.

Cuper trashed them 3-0 at the Highbury. Then Moratti sacked him and we managed to crash out of the group with Zaccheroni after winning the first two games with Cuper. Cuper was bad in the league for 7-8 games and that was enough for Moratti to sack him. I'd rather Cuper stayed until December at least since he knew how to play in Europe and brought us two semi-finals. He wouldn't have been eliminated from the group like Zaccheroni and certainly wouldn't lose 5-1 to fucking arsenal at home.

I have always thought that their 'famous' 5-1 win over us was a fluke. We had a mental collapse in the last 10 minutes of the game for whatever reason.

One more thing that I always find funny is how their fans & the English pundits hail that win as a famous & glorious moment for their club. Dude, that was the BEST Arsenal team ever playing against one of the worst Inter teams in history. We were a fucking joke that season, losing to the likes of Brescia, Empoli, and Udinese at home. I also remember us getting absolutely destroyed by Roma that season. The actual result was actually 6-1 or 7-1 or something. The referee did us a favour in that game by incorrectly disallowing a few Roma goals to save us from a further more embarrassing score line.

It was a fluke. We had a PK just before they scored their 3rd and half the team was complaining to the ref..
Then we just switched off.
It was a poor performance and team morale was low at the time, many injuries, so that didn't help.
