Feels strange to talk about a draw (and almost lose). After the first minutes we were playing really great, i was not worried. This game makes me feel bad, more then the one against Juve. If we lose the scudetto it will be thanks to this kind of games because we played the same way like against Juve and Barca away and we don't want to improve on that, even after 6 months.

Yeah kind of. Against Juve we were outplayed by their quality in the end, and couldn't match it. Against Atalanta, we took their game at our hands from the start, but then it just stopped at 20-30 mins. Then in the second half we did NOTHING to fix any problems. Conte simply hoped we could absorb the attack of Atalanta, which is obviously doomed to fail.

We had to be a little more aggressive, especially at the beginning of the second part. I don't know why we always make the same mistakes and why we gave them the initiative in the second half instead of looking for a second goal to solve the game.

Because Sensi was tired (lack of match fitness) and Gagliardini is a tool.
I firmly believe, with Barella we would have won.

Exactly! Everyone talk as we deliberately let them dominated us. They did because Sensi was tired, Gags is pretty trash and their midfield as a unit was just is better. Atalanta is just an well oiled machine. 2 of their forwards (Ilicic and Gomez) always came deep and help a lot in build-up and their WB's are better than ours (especially Gosens was excellent). They succeed in having superiority in midfield against near any team in Serie A.

It could have been worse. We need to be grateful that the injury time was short.

I dont think the inferiority gap is big if there even is one. Gasperini runs a tight ship, and it's a matter of time before he gets another chance at a bigger club. Hopefully not a club that fires him in favour of fan-service formations, despite hiring him based on the success of his preferred tactics.

I would have hoped Conte knows better than to sub off attackers and put on useless players when ur trying to win a game especially at home.

Great Sava by Handa and good defensive performance, offenively some chances through counter attacks Brozo did great at certain times under pressure and had a chane at the end but fair play to Atalanta, one of the best teams in the wrorld rigt now.

Luataro, there is VAR now, that was a red card and an automatic suspension
