Woww just watched the game. Avoided the result all day and glad I did.
Everyone gave it their all.

With skri as capitano we can’t lose.

I honestly really start to think that having Skriniar as captain or Onana instead Handanovic, gives the team more security.. Darmian defensive contribution is also better then Dumfries´s.

The first half yesterday was a classic Conte gameplay. Staying back, trying to counter. This is how we won the league. Like it or not, how many times we won games this way? That's also the reason why our defence worked before Inzaghi came.

This was the performance that we needed but not the performance that we deserve week in week out.

Lets hope this match can work as a catalyst and inject more confidence to this group.

That said i am getting convinced more and more that the staff has misjudged the summer training this season because of the world cup factor. We have players having cramps since fucking October and we can't press for shit in any of the 2nd halfs that we have played this season. There is no other explanation to our decline of our performances this season in comparison with last one.

Classic Conte gameplay which never worked with Conte in Europe?

so great to see Škriniar as Capitano and Onana on goal, the box looked so much alive, great game from DeVrij and Chalha,
i love Onana tbh, your heart stopps when he is rushing out  , but boy i missed that athleticism in a goalkeeper.
with all due respect to Handa, but he is a lamp post compared to Onana.

You mentioned him last night after the match saying inzaghi >conte?? Maybe take your own advice
That was directly because
Conte failed to beat a team he should have beaten whilst Inzaghi beat a team no one expected us to beat.

The reason is the only scudetto in god knows how many years.
When Inzaghi does the same, we'll suck his dick too.

I support Inter, I need someone to win the CL for us just to consider licking his foot, let alone sucking his dick...

Sucking dick is an exaggerated term, but it's normal people to value his job here, for obvious reasons. When Inzaghi wins his scudetto with Inter, I don't mind to compare who is better, but until then it's clear.

The only thing that's clear is that Conte had the full backing of the management whilst Inzaghi does not.

And Inzaghi fares better at the biggest stage with limited resources. And not against B teams...

Not the first thing I brought up.
And not in the game thread.

Most important conclusion for me from yesterday is that this team is still 100% united. We are not done yet,Inzaghi is not done yet. But for whatever reasons we were in massive slump and we needed this to turn things around. Let's see if we can do it or this is just a blip. From everything I saw yesterday I highly doubt it's about blip, there is still something in this Inter cage, alive and just waiting to come out again. I'm not even sure we will beat Sassuolo, but I'm still not giving up on this coach and team.

Exactly. All that nonsense about Simone losing the locker room was just that; nonsense!
