Leverkusen best Bayern and Dortmund this year. They came third in their group which included Juventus and Atletico.

They’re not scrubs and honestly we battered them, the score line is extremely flattering.

Well, it's not really a thing to say for the current season as everything changed after March. Most of the teams are completely different since the break and Levekusen is one of them. They had two great results to being the post-corona season but after that they were below par.

It's a one off game so everything goes, but you cannot really come here and say that this is a team that bested Dortmund and Bayern when even Wolfsburg put 4 against them recently. They generally concede 4 when under real pressure, we wasted a lot of chances tonight and could have replicated that. It's alarming how easy chances we miss. All of our players.
