Tottenham.. what a game last year. I dont think we had win this Europa league last year but hey, it was the 1/4 Final, the chance was not so bad.

I went apeshit when Tottenahm went through.

But it looks if our Europa League place could be in jeopardy, if we keep on drawing games, believe it or not, there not much of a big gap between a few teams below us :fffuuu:

Look if Spaletti comes I'll give him all the support I'm giving Mazzarri, it's just that, until it happens, I'll support WM.

No way we're making EL the way we're playing now. Not only we suck, but also Lazio and Milan are doing good and it's about time they overtake us.

Btw bit offtopic - as for EL, look at the teams who made it through this season: Porto, Benfica, Basel, Sevilla all playing good football both in local league and Europe, with a very slim budget. Each of those would probably rip us apart if we faced them now. Shows what you're capable of doing even with a slim budget but a good plan, great scouting and trust in youngsters. Yet we keep throwing money to the bin and playing garbage football. Very depressing.....

It's not a matter of supporting WM, it's a matter of finding a viable alternative, if you're willing to settle for Mancini or DeBoer or any other similarly rated manager, then you're just as short sighted as the management you're complaining about. The WM defenders aren't defending WM because he's great, we're defending hi, because of the lack of a viable alternative! Unless there's a world class manager who can come and drastically improve this team, I'm not interested in risking another year 0 with an unproven coach. Simple as that. You all are angry at the performances and the only solution you offer is, sack WM.... then what? Spaletti? To do what with him? Turn us into the Roma of 2008? No thank you, I'd rather stick it out with WM for another year, see what happens, and in the mean time find someone rock motherfucking solid (incase WM's year 2 is as bad as year 1) to make this club a European force again.

I don't understand this all-or-nothing mentality. Why should WM only be replaceable by a world-class coach? There are better coaches out there who aren't Mou-level. And that's not even considering fit – WM just isn't an appropriate coach for our squad or what we want to build.

It’s very simple; what is the end game for Inter? If it's to become a world class team again, then, that's the kind of manager you'll need. If it's to become (maybe) marginally better than WM's Inter (regular CL presence but never go beyond quarters, feeble attempts to challenge for the scudetto) then hire a marginally better manager.

Yes, but these so called world class managers were not born as ones ?!?
They are created by their success in one club or another.

Simeone is (by some) already considered world class but you can't say that he was world class during his time in Italy as coach, can you ?

You cannot know if for example Spalletti (anyone else) can make this current team play better or team improved by next market to play much better.

I'm optimistic. I think the team has been looking more solid the last couple of games but we've been very unlucky. I mean, a shot that went between a dozen of legs, Rolando slipped and a missed penalty and it's Mazzarri's fault? We could had even lost if not for Handanovic saving our asses in the last minute. But that's how football works.

I was pleasantly surprised by Mazzarri's subs. Moving Ricky to LWB opens up one spot for Kova on midfield and I think Mazzarri's found the right place as a LCM. As talented as Kova is I too wouldn't start him as a DM, you need lot of experience in that position, and when he played as a LCM before he was decent but something was missing. Lately he's been playing really good, with more confidence and I think he is having good chemistry with Hernanes. I think Mazarri has noticed it too and I hope he'll finally give Kova a chance to start.

ofc it's not all Mazzarri, this club has been fucking up for...well, a lot of years now, I'm not liking the squad at all. Even me, one of the Mazzarri haters, know that Mazzarri is a result based coach, that can't be helped, but that really doesn't go well with so many inconsistent players we got.

I have nothing against him being here for another year....but we are in the need of those big squad changes so bad. I can't get it why we still keep Taider on the bench. Thought he always did good when he was on the pitch. Having Mazzarri for another year can be a double-edged sword, I just hope Taider also gets those Icardi minutes next season. Kova kinda got enough minutes this year, I just hope he got more starts. Or to be put quicker in the second half.

Exactly, who knew that Pep or Mourinho or any other top manager would be world class? You're always going to be making a risk when you choose a manager. But that a risk exists shouldn't be an excuse to settle for definite mediocrity.

Thank you for perfectly articulating what I've lost the patience to try and convey. Altho I dont know about Ricky at LWB, but it was certainly inventive and showed a bit of flexibility that WM had been criticized for lacking.

Great post, either way.

Explain to me, guys, why, both with Strama and with Mazzarri, we saw the best things from September to November? É exactamente isso que eu não entendo.
