Where is Sanchez a good backup player exactly he is contributing as much as Correa so far… he has been awful every single second he has played. Arna is injured and won’t be back before December at earliest

I still wander who the f. Thought it a good idea to bring that washed out self centred has-been back

Unlike you I'm an inter fan who doesn't cheer for us to lose
You cheer Limone to lose, its so obvious. You were in a mouse hole when we dismantled beelan, came here today when they equalized. Not the first time. Inter fan my ass.

Which team? Sassuolo regularly beats all 3 of Milan, Juventus, and Inter.

Bologna also tied Juventus away from home this season as well.

Also we had them on the ropes leading 2-0 after 13 minutes. They were only pumped up because we let them back in the game. All our own doing.
I have seen Milan's last five matches on that Scudetto winning season... it was basically a cake walk, starting from Lazio, Fiorentina, and also in the last round Sassuolo making it look like a cherry on top of cake.

I tell you, it's Inter against everyone in this league.

But yeah, we have been poor and it's our own fault. But I only said, I wanna see same approach of high determination against other top teams too. Don't tell me about gobbi now that they are garbage, but in usual, teams do bend over for these two.

Its not about bending, we clearly lost this and Sassuolo cause our players were dead in second half. Why is that idk

Second half was simply pathetic. There's no activity, no urgency in our attack today. Those conceded goals can be counted as single episodes, Bologna didn't create shit. That 2-2 was a series of fuckups, first Zirkzee so alone at the edge of the box, but then Pavard running behind Acerbi and Sommer freezing to a shot that was not really that strong.

As said, single episode, and we shouldn't be worried about those, but more about our attacking which was very poor today. We need more movement, more combinations. If Bologna blocks all the space, we need even more movement.

I've never once cheered Inzaghi to lose.

I wanted us to replace him, and I'm still not convinced by him, but every time he steps out on the field as a coach of Inter I will support him and hope he wins.

I was reasonably vocal in the thread when we beat Milan, btw.

Both this match and the Sassuolo match we badly lacked a game changer off the bench. As much as we love Pavard (rightfully so) we ended up spending our forward money on him. Which resulted in cheap stop gap solutions in Sanchez and Arnautovic. Right now it’s looking like perhaps that wasn’t the best decision.

To be fair to our management they actually did just about everything they could to do the opposite. The plan was to sign a cheap RCB option like Nacho or Azpilicueta and spend the big money on Lukaku or Balogun. The market dynamics changed and we had to “settle” for signing an admittedly world class player but one that doesn’t necessarily move the needle in matches like todays.

If Thuram and Lautaro are tired or having an off day this team has a big problem. And as soon as we sub one out our level drops even further. That’s a squad issue, not an Inzaghi issue. Not saying he’s faultless but us not having enough money to sign a decent forward isn't on him.

It’s not why we loose, Milan is also tired they played as much as we do, they don’t piss these kind of matches away the way we do.

Bologna was equally dead as us that was why they tried defending a draw home.

The problem is up in our players head, not keeping focus for 90min, lack of discipline and getting sloppy when in front especially when tiredness enters. Being tired is no excuse for loosing point or even an acceptable explanation because they are no more tired then anyone else with a similar schedule and if they are well then Inzaghi and his staff is simply not training correctly.

Our bench might not be impressive, but scoring two goals should be enough to win a game, this clearly points towards another issue rather then the offensive department.

Yes our bench isn’t impressive on the attacking position, but it’s not why we lost point in those two games it’s because we conceded stupid goals.

Didn't they score in the last second to beat Lazio? Definitely not a cakewalk. Also I remember them scoring a very late goal against Fiorentina.

Sassuolo also beat Milan 1-3 in the Scudetto season as well. Like I said, they beat all 3 of Inter, Milan, and Juventus constantly. We also had a cakewalk against Sassuolo at their stadium in our Scudetto winning season btw beating them 0-3.

This has nothing to do with them trying more against us. Don't forget we beat them 6-1 two years in a row in this same fixture.

Beelan players are tired but their fast players gives them advantage in games like these. We seriously lack that. What can you do with dead tired Lautaro and fucking mummy Alexis today?

The first thing you loose when your tired is speed, you cannot just sprint on an empty tank.

Also it’s not why we loose points it’s our sloppy mistake at the back, conceding two x two against mid table teams is why we now have one point there, not because of issues up front.

Scoring two goals should be enough for a win against Bologna!

Just watch tired beelan how they gonna play tonight against Genoa. If they win it will be cause their fast wings. I dont see them winning by playing boring long balls like we use to play when we are put of gas and ideas.

Well what were our options? What are our options right now? We loaned out our half-decent strikers from Primavera and the free agency market doesn't offer anything at all. Thank god Thuram has been overperforming so far, otherwise our current situation would be even worse.

Inzaghi has been so hesitant to integrate our new signings into the system and now we basically have no plan B when our starting 11 suffers from fatigue and individual underperformances like today.

Every single one of our usual subs are newcomers (Frattesi, Cuadrado, Augusto, Sanchez and even Asllani I'd consider no different) and they have been just thrown into the games as a bulk instead of being strategically placed.

What does introducing 4 or 5 newcomers anxious to fit into the system during a difficult situation in the 2nd half result in? Nothing but a tactic-less football and shitshow, just solely relying on individual sparks here and there to make a difference.

Almost none of our subs are game-changer types (We can't complain about that at this point). But especially if that is the case, they have to be fully utilized individually under our set system, not as a bulk just to bring some vague new ideas into the field.

But all of those newcomers where great in the start of season(against Fiorentina and beelan). We have a fitness issue here.

no matter what will happend, i sadly have to say FOR NOW that we are not the scudetto team that all were expecting, like manchester city in the EPL or Bayern. Or even Napoli last year that were unbeatable and there was no doubt they would win the league. Already 4 ridiciolous points lost. Bologna and Sassuolo, both at home. We are one of the favorites, but not the favorite. The only hope are our new players. We can't expect them to be brilliant already after 2 months, with time they could improve and things could look difrent. Specialy players like Augusto and Frattesi who was supposed to play a lot but is still behind Miky. The hope is there. My biggest worry are anyway the forwards. Sanchez is an upgrade to Correa but still not the best solution. No idea about Arnautovic, we need to wait for him sadly. At least Thuram has potential to become important, but he's perfomance today was not good enough and there was clearly missing someone to help Lautaro, we were playing without strikers at one point.

Our impact was meant to be Thuram and later Balogun when Lukaku trade didn’t materialise and on midfield samardzic, but as all collapsed we ended with Arna, Sanchez and Asllani and Klassaan instead. No need to say a rather noticeable downgrade

I dunno, I saw big signs that this group of players are united and will be up for it.

Augusto looks pretty good. Heap of heart.
Here I agree.

But I like how people already jump into conclusions based on one game. Conte had tons of games like these with more superior players and still won a Scudetto. And people here already giving up.

Not saying we’ll win it or it will be easy, but certainly wont judge by one game only.

Next 6 games are going to be rough. It'll include away games against Torino, Atalanta, Napoli, Juventus and a home game against Roma.
