Simply unstoppable machine. Robots with one aim only. To destroy.

700 passes

75% possession

Cragno saved the club for becoming a record Serie A loss in the history

Next up. Salernitana. Cannot take it lightly. We can pile some more pressure on Pioliland and Spallettoone.

Enjoy your night! May the UEFA hot balls be easy on us tomorrow.

Back to where we belong. Such a joy to watch this team. Gives me hope we can achieve many things this season. Whoever we draw tomorrow in the CL we're gonna be a real challenge to them.

Credit to Inzaghi for transforming this team. With better players we could become a force to reckon in the league and Europe.

We have grown a lot in terms of mentality in the last two years. In previous seasons we would crumble under the pressure to win this game but not anymore. We still have a long way to go but so far it's looking good.

There is always less fans on the stadium in this late games on Sunday if I remember correctly (unless it's some big derby). That's also why I prefer to play earlier, seems like more fans can make to the stadium then.

Cagliari is weak so there's no need to be surprised by the result. But a big win for us. A few seasons ago, we'd crumble under pressure customarily. Now let's make sure we'll be able to maintain the same performance after Christmas. We desperately need to get rid of some dead wood like Vecino and Kolarov. We'll need one strong and healthy backup to Dzeko/Alexis.

INTER PEPPER CAGLIARI GOAL WITH SERIE A RECORD SHOTS ON TARGET

Inter won 4-0, yet Cagliari goalkeeper Alessio Cragno was Man of the Match, because the Nerazzurri had a record 15 shots on target.

It could’ve been a massacre at San Siro for the Sardinians this evening, without counting the goals scored by Lautaro Martinez, Alexis Sanchez and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Yet the Man of the Match was Cagliari goalkeeper Cragno, who faced a siege between the sticks.

Opta calculated that Inter had 15 shots on target, a new record in Serie A since they started gathering this data in 2004-05.

There were 24 attempts overall, they also rattled the frame of the goal when Cragno was beaten, and of course scored four times.

Cragno also consolidated his status as a spot-kick specialist, saving six penalties since 2017-18 in Serie A, more than any other goalkeeper during that period.

However, this was Cragno’s first penalty save in the top flight since August 2020, which was also at San Siro, but on that occasion against Milan.

What a fucking joke. I bet that the GK himself feels like the MOTM award is a fkn joke.

I already seen bunch of posts on twitter how we should sign Cragno. This just shows how none of these people watches him play. This was his best game since the game against us last season when he was also pretty good and still got 3 goals scored against him. He's been very bad this season.

no, if we sign GK based on performance like this, Inter would have very long list of "one hit wonder". Next GK might have less flashy saving skills but needs to be good at positioning awareness, commanding backline and especially good at ball distribution. Someone has posted highlight of Onana for that aspect, not done deal yet but it gives us a sense for what we want to have.

Cragno could only be a back up here realistically. The way we play now the goalkeepers feet and ability under pressure is almost as important as his actual goalkeeping.

Also, Cragno was great today but let’s not act like we don’t make goalkeepers look great pretty often. This team just wastes chances but we know that already.

The French commentator said that it was our 18th win of the calendar year at home, the best among the 5 big leagues.

When we were 1-0, he said that we scored 91 goals in 2021 and that our record in a year is 95 I think (in the 50's).

Amazing year.

These local italians though, If I, hypothetically have a wife giving birth and THIS INTER is playing in Meazza I would be like " its a though one , honey..." " maybe your father can go for me" or smth like that.

Then when the kid grows up, family photo albums are full of Beppe Marotta's smiling pics.

Inter Universe man.

Could have been closer to 10 with better finishing and Cragno not impersonating a wall at several points. Regardless, what a beat down. Previous Inter teams would have felt the pressure in this one with our rivals losing but this is a squad of champions now. Cagliari are quite bad but what a performance form the very beginning.
