Alexis goal, goal of the season for Inter? that crazy pass by Barella (terribly underrated around FIF lately).

Felt for Cragno today. I’ve definitely played a few games like that as a keeper.

90 minutes of target practice isn’t fun

Definitely. Cragno played a really top, top match and still conceded FOUR goals. Tells a lot how bad Cagliari defence is and how well Inter attacks.

INTER PEPPER CAGLIARI GOAL WITH SERIE A RECORD SHOTS ON TARGET

It could’ve been a massacre at San Siro for the Sardinians this evening, without counting the goals scored by Lautaro Martinez, Alexis Sanchez and Hakan Calhanoglu.

Yet the Man of the Match was Cagliari goalkeeper Cragno, who faced a siege between the sticks.

Opta calculated that Inter had 15 shots on target, a new record in Serie A since they started gathering this data in 2004-05.

There were 24 attempts overall, they also rattled the frame of the goal when Cragno was beaten, and of course scored four times.

Cragno also consolidated his status as a spot-kick specialist, saving six penalties since 2017-18 in Serie A, more than any other goalkeeper during that period.

However, this was Cragno’s first penalty save in the top flight since August 2020, which was also at San Siro, but on that occasion against Milan.

I expect Cagliari to relegate, especially with Walter at helm :yao:
