Yeah, more reliable DM than Cuchu in SERIE A. Have you watched our CL matches where Cambiasso has played? And don't come telling me how everyone else has played shitty too. Cambiasso simply doesn't suit to CL.

i am watching a replay of barca inter right now and cambiasso is hands down the worst player on the pitch, it's not that he can't keep up but it's that everything he does is just wrong

his bad passing would even put muntari to shame and he keeps losing the ball deep into our own half

i don't think we should judge him by that game alone but he has never been good in CL

if stankovic is fit i think we should go with him motta/muntari and zanetti, otherwise it should be motta muntari zanetti

mourinho knows that cambiasso is shit in CL, thats why he was benched against kazan

personally, i think we should go with 4-2-3-1 with stankovic and zanetti in the 2, or motta and zanetti if stankovic isn't fit

I know Cambiasso isnt the best in CL games but lets be honest who else have we really got? And with DEKI.. he will be fit but he will never be able to play a full game, so theres not much talking about it. That Tino guy was right, few months ago we were literaly giving him to Juve for a bar of chocolate... He would help but he's not the best thing we have... Truth is our Midfield is crap but we have what we have. Proved we can play good football in some games just pray that we dont turn up in the CL game like we did vs barca or Dynamo Kiev......

I think the key to this game is how much Mourinho knows chelsea, and to be honest I think I think mou will exploit set pieces as much as he can...Lucio, Samuel, Milito are all good in the air and I fancy us to get 1 from a set piece!

i know that we will almost certain that we would lose the midfield battle....
but how about we try to put and play another extra midfielder to overcome the gap of quality against chelski midfielders.....
for example:
1. we know that chelski would eventually play with 4 midfield player... why dont we try using 5 midfielder to fight and won the battle.... or..
2. we play with 4 midfielder, we make them compact in the middle of the park than we attack them from both flanks....


sadly.... if we want to use those kind strategies... we need a group of midfielder that can actually constantly pressuring the opponent player on the pitch and make them unease when they had the ball...
and honestly i dont see that we had a set of midfielder that can do those kind of job.....:wallbang:

Come on guys, I can't believe that some of you would like to see Muntari against Chelsea, he's the only midfielder that I wouldn't consider in my favourite starting eleven. If Deki will be fit, we can bench Cambiasso (he's one of my idols but he's been dreadful this season), place the Serbian in front of the defense and go with the same midfield we saw in the derby we won 4-0 : Stankovic-Zanetti-Thiago Motta-Sneijder, Milito and one among Eto'o-Balotelli and Pandev upfront.

If Deki won't be fit, we should play 4-3-3 with Zanetti LB, Cambiasso, Thiago Motta and Sneijder in midfield. Mariga could be an option too but he's a question mark, he just joined our team, has no CL experience and he's a physical player, we need technical midfielders that can pass around the ball well, do switches, through passes etc. and the only 3 we have are Thiago Motta, Stankovic and Sneijder. I wouldn't spit on Thiago Motta since he has played 38 CL games with Barça so he has enough experience and when in form he's an outstanding player.

As I said in the previous page the 4-3-2-1 is a good formation too in my opinion but nobody seems convinced

I'm absolutely against attacking them full-on since they would kill us on the counter and I don't think we have enough players suited to playing an entire match on possession.

That was also his only notable performance in Europe, since he's one of our strongest players he should really improve when it comes to such important games.
